WONDERFUL & Easy to Apply!
This was my first time to use reflective HTV on nylon windbreakers, and I was hoping for a good outcome. After reading up on using reflective HTV and application to a rather tricky-to-work with fabric -- I researched various brands of reflective HTV. I was impressed with the reviews for Firefly, and decided to give it a try. I have been VERY happy with the outcome! I ride a recumbent trike which is very low to the ground, and I usually ride before daybreak. While bright colors help to be seen, I wanted a bit more visibility when riding before sun up. The reflective HTV works perfectly for the visibility I needed! My jackets' decorative trims really shine when cars' headlights shine in my direction. The directions that come with the HTV are very helpful. I cut the designs on my Cricut Explore Air2. They weeded beautifully without any problem. I applied the HTV as per instructions, using my Cricut Easy Press (280 degrees with several short presses). I have washed the windbreakers multiple times (inside out), and placed them in my dryer (on lowest heat setting) for just a few minutes and then hang them to finish drying completely. The HTV is still very reflective and adhering to the jackets. I am very pleased with how easy this reflective HTV was to apply. I would not hesitate to purchase Firefly HTV again -it is good quality and at a good price. This is an "honest" review. NO discounts or free merchandise was received or sought in exchange for my review.

Best HTV I've found so far
I could not be happier with this HTV. I am actually getting ready to buy 4-5 more colors in preparation for the holidays. It is SO easy to get started for weeding. I purchased a different brand at the same time I purchased Firefly's and it is impossible to get started for weeding. So frustrating! It also isn't super sticky on the back which I greatly appreciate. I have NO idea why they make it so sticky on the back side. It makes it impossible to stack your designs to carry them over to your Cricut Press. I end up with a huge congealed mess. And the vinyl looks fantastic once it is pressed onto your item and so far I haven't had ANY issues with it coming back off. They get a 10 of our 5 stars in my book. And the value for your money is good too. I'm pretty sure this roll of HTV will last me a while. It is really nice because it is the standard size of a vinyl roll. For some reason all of the HTV I purchase isn't a standard size (it is like 10-11", not 12"). That is frustrating as heck too because I don't have a mat size that matches in my Design Studio so I have to manually move my designs around to compensate for the loss of width. Great vinyl, good looking, and great value for your money! A winner in my book!

This stuff is great!
I hadn't heard of this brand, but based on the price and reviews I went ahead and got 3 rolls of this HTV to try out with my new heat press. I only have wonderful things to say about this product. The vinyl is easy to weed and it cuts wonderfully on my Silhouette Cameo. It is packaged well and I was happy to not have any problems getting it flat after un-packaging it. The only thing I haven't figured out is the proper temperature and time. There are instructions in the packaging that helped guide me on my cut and speed settings, but the heat settings were kind of off. At least for me. It mentions using an iron between 285-305 degrees and "pressing each area for 10-15 seconds". One of my shirts turned out great and the other one looked...kind of stretched afterwards...like maybe I'd left it on too long, or too hot? The instructions also mention to hot peel the protective film, but I do know that the difference between the shirts I made that I felt turned out great and the one that doesn't really look like the rest is that I let the first shirts sit and cool for about a minute or so before I peeled off the vinyl, and the one that looks kind of stretched and wrinkly I hot peeled like the instructions said. Maybe that had something to do with it? Either way, I'm sure it's an operator error and it will just take some playing around to get it figured out. Since creating my favorite shirt, I've washed it probably 4 times. I turn it inside out and wash it with my other clothes on our normal settings (Cold/Cold and then low heat in the dryer) and it's holding up well so far! Edit: This time I ordered pink and gold glitter htv and again it was awesome stuff to work with!

Top Quality Premium HTV
This stuff is fantastic. I own 3 plotters and deal with masking vinyl a LOT but this was my first run with HTV for a Halloween shirt/costume. I used a Silhouette Cameo, with a mat. I followed the exact instructions that came with the sheet - same settings and DOUBLE CUT. Make sure you REVERSE/MIRROR the image in your software before cutting. It weeded with no issues. Application went very smoothly with no issues. The end result was very impressive and way better than expected. People were really surprised when I told them I made the shirt. I have seen other HTV on shirts and it's not the same soft, flexible feel that this vinyl had. The price is high - that being said if I was doing a one-time-use Halloween shirt, I may try to find something a little cheaper next time (I had to have this next day and it was the only vinyl that had a 1 day shipping option at the time). But for something professional or a special request from the wife or something, I would absolutely get this again. Awesome stuff and worth the little extra $$.

Great Vinyl!
Update May 18, 2020 I still love this vinyl. The quality is great and I've had no issues with washing anything. I made a shirt for my toddler and it's held up to repeated washings, dryings, and stain treatments. Thanks for a fantastic product. I was really impressed with this vinyl. The price per square inch is less than that big name brand, and the sheets are a great size. Plus more colors in a pack. It has a great chart on the side with cutting and pressing info. I fed it into my Cameo 3 and let the autoblade do it's thing (smooth heat transfer) with zero cutting problems. It weeded beautifully! My only complaint is that the first color in my multicolor design did shrink a bit more than expected. Not enough that I am unhappy, it just does need to be compensated more. The colors are great too! I haven't washed my first item yet, so I can't comment there, but I will update when I do. Everything looks adhered really well though. I used a heat press and pressing pillow to make sure my pressure is correct. Overall I'm really happy with this vinyl and it's totally worth it to buy again!

Easy to weed & transferred beautifully to superhero capes!
Love this vinyl! Easy to weed & transferred beautifully on to the personalized capes I made for my daughters superhero party! Everyone commented on how professional the capes look and I’m so happy with how they turned out! I’m new to Cricuting and was amazed at how easy this vinyl was to work with! So far I’ve only tried a couple Cricut brand glitter vinyls and this silver Firefly vinyl was much easier to weed and transfer. I used the Cricut EasyPress2 to transfer the Super logos and it literally only took a few seconds, which I wasn’t expecting since the Cricut vinyl I’ve worked with took at least 10. Here are a few tips if you’re planning to transfer this vinyl to shiny superhero capes: 1-Prep the cape by pressing the cape only on 180 for 3 seconds. The EasyPress2 instructions say to prep both the vinyl and material for 3 seconds but this vinyl bonds so quickly you can’t reposition it after 3 seconds. 2-Position vinyl and press for 5 seconds (with a Teflon sheet burier) - lift to let the cape/vinyl cool for 10 seconds. Down for 5 seconds - up for 10, down for 5 (15 seconds total with 2 10 second breathers). 3-Peel vinyl cover off & flip cape - down for 5 seconds on back of cape. 4-Flip cape again and down for another 5 seconds on the front - then lay the cape flat to cool. **I figured out this strategy from almost melting a couple of the capes and messing up some of the logos removing the plastic coating. The last 2 presses are important, as they seal the logo and fix imperfections inadvertently caused by peeling the plastic coating off.** Good luck!

Good Quality, Easy to Use
I used this vinyl to make a tshirt for my toddler. Upon opening the box the vinyl itself felt like the type you would buy in a store (cricut, siser), I really like that about it because other brands felt like rubber. It was very easy to weed, I just pull it right off and it came off in places it were suppose to. I did follow the instructions on the box which says to heat my easypress to 305F and apply with medium pressure for 15s. I was actually surprise when it came off smooth and it stuck to the shirt. Other brands had the same instructions but I had to go back and follow Cricut easypress instructions instead. I love how it came out on the shirt however I didn't like that the plastic backing wasn't sticky, I like the stickiness cause I find its easier to do layers with it. Other then that there wasn't any problem with the vinyl and I would definitely be buying this brand again.

impressed first time user
To be fair and honest I received this product in a special deal, basically I paid the tax on the purchase. That being said, I was really impressed with the range of colors in this selection and the size of the sheets. Most of the HTV I've seen and used were 12"X12" and these were 12"x24". For the price, I think it is a really great value when compared to the cost of other HTV brands. I will admit my first attempt was a total disaster because I though "I know how this works I don't need to read the instructions". Once I fully read the instructions, which are clear, concise and easy to follow, it was a snap. I did the practice piece and figured out where I had gone wrong and how to get the results I truly wanted for my project. The adhesion is great, the color really stood out and over all it adds so much to be able to personalize my crafts. Now I am really inspired to do more with HTV. When I need more, and I will, I am definitely going to check out all the Firefly products.
