CAPE COD Polishing Cloths for Metal, Pack of 2

I bought this product to clean and polish jewellery and watches. It is somewhat greasy, and the described 'Pleasant Fragrance' is far from pleasant in my opinion (it does stink!) - but it remains MAGIC. I have used it to polish gold and silver and the stainless steel element of various watches and they all now look like new. It removes old scratches, even from steel, and it imparts a beautiful shine when buffed up. Items should be washed after polishing and this will enhance the finish. (Make sure watches are water resistant.) Oh and wash your hands thoroughly after use - it is harmful, or fatal, if swallowed. But it is still MAGIC! Edited 9 Feb 24. I have now used this product for a few weeks and it remains MAGIC. The greasiness is a little messy, and I continue to be very careful how I handle these wipes, but what matters to me is that they really work. The 'Pleasant Fragrance' (or 'stink') doesn't seem too bad now - perhaps I'm getting used to it! Highly recommended.

Bought in an attempt to remove light scratches from a stainless steel watch case, and I am 100% satisfied - it looks like brand new again ! Would advise wearing protective gloves when using and following the (very clear) instructions to buff the polish off rather than wash it off. I cut off just a strip of one of the cloths in the pack, and that was enough for the job in hand. Delighted with this product and would heartily recommend.

The product is excellent and works very well. Buy you only get a small amount of impregnated cloth so I think it is a bit expensive I think. I would not buy again as there are alternative metal cleaning products which are just as good but you get more for the money.

Like this product a lot, they make items really shine and it does remove small scratches. I personally wouldn’t rub too hard as you are effectively removing a layer of the metal but with practice you can apply as much pressure as needed.

First time using this polishing cloths and already love it! Excellent!

Used extensively to polish my stainless steel watches (only the high polish parts), do not use on brushed parts! Works great for hairline scratches. Anything deeper than that, this wont do too much, as it only does surface level.

Sono rimasta incredibilmente stupita dalla qualità del panno. Con un po' di cura e pazienza rimuove anche i micrograffi dal bracciale di un noto marchio di orologi (molto prono a graffiarsi) senza rovinarlo. Sicuramente diventerà un mio acquisto fisso: nessun prodotto in crema ha mai lontanamente sfiorato questi risultati.
