Made in China, not within permissible specs!
I studied this product both on and off the Amazon page. I believed from my research it was made in Germany. When it came there was a made in China sticker on the small box. I miced it to see exactly how accurate it was. I use 1:10 and 1:20 90% of the time in my landscape designs. It was consistently off .014-.017 and most of that was between the 7-10 lines within each inch on the 1:10 scale. I did some math geek work on excel and this could equate to my square foot calculations being more than a thousand sq. Ft on a large landscape. If I’m under I loose more money on materials and labor than I have in profits. If I’m over I won’t be competitive.If your work is critical for your business or livelihood I’d stay away from this.
