Sesame Street Take Along Elmo 12" Plush

My 20 month old grandson does not go anywhere without his Elmo! It is easy for him to carry

My son is beyond obsessed with Elmo. And of course our local stores don't have any Elmo plushies. None. Finding this one for such a great price from a trustworthy brand I love was like hitting the jackpot. I got it for my son's second birthday and from the time he opened it it has been glued to him. He sleeps with it every night, he takes it on trips in the car, he takes it for walks, he "feeds" it and shares his sippy cup. For all the abuse it's taken it looks just as nice as it did when it got here. The fur is incredibly soft and vibrant. The arms and legs are weighted perfectly so it's easier for little arms to hold tight. The fur is soft enough that it doesn't irritate sensitive skin. My favorite part is the eyes. Most Elmo plushies have hard plastic eyes. I always worry about one coming off or when he was little, him flailing Elmo around and hitting himself in the head. He's gotten a few bruises from cheaper made Elmo's bonking him with their hard eyes. The eyes on this plush are fabric, they aren't perfectly round but they are soft and sturdy and can easily be washed without fear of scratching the black off or ruining them. This is definitely worth the money. I can't go on enough about how awesome this plush is and how much my kid loves it. It's perfect, reasonably priced, well made, and it shipped incredibly fast!

My husband and I were asked to host our grandson’s first birthday. Since our little boy loves Elmo, we decided to use Elmo and Sesame Street decorations. I wanted to get or make something a little more personal for the occasion and decided to make a “birthday wreath” using the furry red Muppet monster as the focus of the decoration. I went with basic primary colors for the wreath and selected the 12 inch Elmo to “hang out” on the wreath (see picture). When I received my product, I was delighted that he had long legs that dangled just right from the wreath. The toy was very soft and bendable which helped because I had to attach it to the wreath. The vivid red color went perfectly with the colors selected for the wreath. Of course the best part was giving Elmo to our grandson who immediately smiled and hugged it. His parents say that he keeps it near him and it goes everywhere with him. It has been awhile since I have bought toys for small children but I could tell that this was made of quality material. I felt it was safe for my grandson because the mouth, eyes and nose were not hard plastic. They were made with fabric and stuffed. I would definitely buy this again – as a toy or a DIY project!!!! Loved this Elmo! He’s soft and has a good weight to him. He doesn’t feel cheap at all and is the perfect size for my one year old who loves carrying around things. Really great deal for the price! The only potential small hazard would be if the little beads in his bottom (or hands) get ripped open (like if your dog gets a hold of it like mine did) and they spill everywhere. My daughter was wanting to pick them up and put them in her mouth. She would not have choked since they are small, but would have been rough on her tummy. This only happened because my dog ripped it open. Other then that he is sewn well, quality made, and worth the price.

My almost 2 year old sons now favorite bed-time lovey. Every night he asks for his Elmo and snuggles with him all night. When he wakes up he bring Elmo along too. This stuffed Emlo doll is the perfect 12in size, has perfectly soft red fur with soft eyes (not the standard hard shell ones), and is stitched really well. I have had to wash Elmo a few times putting him in an undergarment zipper bag on cold, gentle, and aired dry. His slightly matted fur fluffed up nicely once brushed and he looks like new every time! I'm so glad I got him for my son and know he will hold up to the daily toddler wear and tear for several years to come! Highly recommend!

This is really cute and I love that the legs and arms are really floppy. I also love that it's really soft and smaller in size because it's the perfect size for my 4 month old son. He absolutely loves it and hugs it all the time, it's so cute. I actually bought it thinking it was a puppet because he loves this Elmo puppet book we have so I thought he might like mommy putting on a puppet show for him. lol But even though it's not a puppet I'm glad I bought it. I have a feeling this is going to be his "security blanket" stuffed animal. The only reason I don't give this 5 stars instead of 4 is that: 1) the fur in a few places seems to be longer when I first purchased it. I'm going to cut it to even it out but I've been keeping an eye on him to make sure more isn't coming out when he puts it in his mouth but that doesn't seem to be the case. ...and 2) I'm not loving that the hands and feet have beads or something in them which might be to weigh it down a bit? If it gets popped open one day that could be a choking hazard. But since he loves it so much I'm just going to keep an eye on it and him when he's playing with it.

Gran regalo para los que adoran a elmo. Peluche muy suave y al tener pelito lo hace visualmente muy parecido al que ven los niños en la tele. Buen tamaño y poco peso para que sea un buen compañero de viajes o de juegos. Gran ventaja que los ojos no sean de plástico ya que se evita el peligro de que se despeguen o que se golpeen con ellos al dormir. Muy contenta con la compra y mi hijo aún más.

Take along Elmo is perfect for any Elmo fan. At just over 30cm, he is the perfect size for babies/toddles. His fur is very soft and cuddly, my son adores him and loves to snuggle up to him when he is sleepy. There are beads located in each hand and foot as well as in his bottom, which my son loves to chew. It is very durable and very well made. Elmo is branded with a official sesame street label and can be hand washed in cool water. I am so pleased with Take Along Elmo, highly recommend. I hope this review was helpful.
