The video camera arrived soon. I used it to shoot travel, game videos right away, it works great! so far. I would like to share my two cents here.Advantage:1. I have tried the 1080P mode, the video is very clear. I tested VGA and 720P, not good as 1080P.2. Two batteries are a perfect accessory. I don't need to worry about a power problem when I shoot a long video.3. I like the designs like remote control and 1/4 inch screw mount. You don't need to hold the camera for a long time,I can easily control the camera by using the remote control.Disadvantage:1. No SD card came with the camcorder.2. No wifi

I found this to be a great beginner video camera. It was easy to insert the SD card and get started recording. The setup menu was pretty intuitive to use and the settings largely behaved the way I expected them to. I was happy with the size of the video files that I transferred from the camera to my computer and I liked that they were in a format that my computer could easily play without having to install any converters or special software. I don't have anything to use in the hot shoe, but I do like having the ability to upgrade the camera later if I need to.The digital zoom is not particularly smooth and moves in steps which makes the videos look a little choppy during the zoom in and out. This was not enough to take away a star in my opinion, because I found it easy to just set the zoom where I wanted it before starting to record. The handycam came with two batteries (fully-charged!) and ready to use, but it does not include a micro-SD card so you must provide your own. I only mention that so it doesn't sneak up on somebody who isn't prepared with their own.

I bought this camera for my spouse to use as she is not very tech savvy and wanted something quick and easy that she could pull out whenever she felt her phone wouldn't do the job. This camera is very compact and depending in the size of the purse or bag will take up very little room.The controls were very easy to use and, short of providing your own SD card this camera is ready to use out of the box. The batteries had a good 3/4 charge each and having TWO batteries is a great plus.We have used this maybe 3 times wince purchase with zero issues, and the videos come out crisp and flawless. Great bang for the buck.

Really great little recorder. Originally ordered as it's affordable and something I could use for my kids' basketball games until I could afford something better, but the quality on it is really great and may not need to upgrade later.

This is going to be a fun little camera to do video. Now the manual is very basic so had to play with the settings and adjust the exposure to get it to work in a room with 60watt lighting.Once I got past that it did fine. Not on scale with a professional camcorder but got to remember this is cheap consumer model.I was pleased with the quality once I found the right settings.*EDIT*If you are going to need to zoom to Max (which the bar turns red) it is going to be so grainy the video will be garbage. Best to stay on with no zoom and have useable video.

It’s an ok camcorder. The video quality is really noisy/grainy. Like it’s filming with a super high iso. The sound quality is good if you’re within 5 ft. After that you will need an auxiliary mic.I bought it to start a YouTube channel. For a beginner it’s got acceptable quality. But for a serious YouTuber, this camera would be a hard pass. You’ll need something better.I wanted a cheap camera that if it got destroyed I wouldn’t feel bad about it. And that’s what this camera is.I would not buy this product again. It’s really only good as a beginner (kids) camcorder or a disposable camcorder.Also it only records in AVI format.

This video camera is very light, like a toy but it has very good quality with simple operating system. It can capture my memorable moment with nice video.It also took such great photos as pictured. I love the carrying case as well. Very happy with my purchase. Great value for my money

Video Quality: 2/10Audio Quality: 0/10I ordered this for my daughter because it was cheap and on sale. I wasn't expecting much, but I was expecting it to work as advertised. The first item of this I received didn't record audio from either the internal mic, or an attached external mic. I returned it, expecting it was a fluke, but the replacement had similar issues. The second one I got actually did record with the internal mic, but the sound quality was so poor and unintelligible, that the video was useless. It did not function with an external mic. Video quality on both was also extremely grainy. Returned it again, this time for good. Plan getting something from a brand with a more proven track record for quality.
