We thought images would play with the USB connection. It will not. Customer Sercice reached out to us and walked us through how to be happy with our purchase. I thought our item was defective and in reality it was user error. This is a cute little addition to beach camping trip. Good times.

I bought this to project my photos from my computer to a canvas so i could outline the photo on the canvas for painting. It will work, because I don't need much detail, just general outlines and scale. I was a bit surprised to see that the name of the product on the box is not what was shown here on Amazon, but the projector looks the same. There are no instructions, but an HDMI cable from the mini projector to the computer immediately projected the image. Easy Peasy! The photos show the heliconia plant on my computer and the projection on canvas from about 6 feet away. As you can see, you probably won't be showing movies with this projector as the resolution and picture quality are very poor from as little as 6 feet. At 3 feet the detail were clear, the resolution was good, but the image was much smaller - too small. You might as well just watch your TV. I was hoping for better resolution, but for the price, this is okay.

I set the volume as loud as it would go and I still can barely hear anything.

The brightness is not that bright, i cannot control it without the controller, DOES NOT CONNECT TO IPHONE, speakers sound like they’re going to break and I’ve used it for all of 2 hours maybe. Focus slide moves so had to put a piece of tape on it so it would stay in focus. This will be good for kids but it missed the mark for me. Going to begin looking for a new one at this time.

The slideshow / photo function is stuck on RANDOM. I bought this to make a slideshow of flashcards in order so I could put in a USB or micro SD card. I can NOT turn RANDOM off to play my photos in order. This may not be a problem for some, but if you have photos in numerical order to show, it will just play them randomly. I emailed to asked if I should exchange this for another, but Jack said this is a problem with the program, and all units are like this. Otherwise, other functions work.

Bought it to my Son as he want to have TV in his room. :-). So far (one week) it's working perfect and he is in love with it. He is watching YouTube and TV series. BTW I tried to check before if it can fit also 220V and the answer was it is not but actually the answer was wrong and it does support 110-240V. So great to use also outside the US.

It does not work with all the devices as advertised. does not work with phone. I don't need another device that requires cords hooking to other devices, etc. I thought I could just use it in a classroom, through my phone, but it was a big fail. You would need to download the movies, save it on a drive and then use it. Really? So anti-technology it is mind boggling in this day and age! Also, it was shipped without complying with the law which requires a warning on the shipping box that the box contains lithium metal batteries.

This is a great little projector for the price you pay. The brightness is actually very good, better than what I thought. I use it in a room with windows and it doesn't seem to have any problems with being seen with the light.
