Great sound and performance
I wanted an exhaust system for my 2016 Ram 1500 Bighorn that would sound good but not be loud at highway speed. This Borla system has a mellow deep rumble at idle with an aggressive performance growl when accelerating. I could have spent a lot less on other systems but I've read some bad reviews about a lot of them. Most all of the reviews on Borla were positive and this seemed to be the system I was looking for. I was able to install it by myself in less than an hour and a half. Very easy install. I really like the larger tailpipes and the way they fit the bumper. It is on the borderline of being too loud for what I was looking for but overall I am extremely satisfied with all aspects of this purchase and the sound and performance of this exhaust system. As another reviewer said, " Borla, you get what you pay for." Borla....can ya Hemi now!!!!

Get It !! Just Do It !! You won't be disappointed.
I've been thinking about putting this Boral System on my 2017 Ram 4 Door Cab ever since I got it !! Finally bit the bullet. OMG . . . Believe the reviews you read. I've read each review about 10 - 20 times again & again, trying to talk myself in buying this Borla System. When I got this, I took it down to the Mechanic Shop I go to & they installed it. Couple Hundred Bucks to install. Low rumble at idle but won't wake the neighbors. However, when the skinny little pedal on the right gets pushed down, Smile On !! No backfiring going down a hill. The wife didn't even complain "Too Much". A little bit at first but I think she just knows now. However she did give me a Great Complement !! She said I was going through a Mid-Life Crises now !! I told her, Thank You Dear !! I'm 67 !!

Sounds and Looks GREAT!!!
This system sounds perfect, I did not want an overly aggressive sound, but it is WAY deeper than the stock. I took it to my mechanic's shop for install as I did not have the time but he had the old exhaust out and the new one in about 45 minutes. The build quality is outstanding and the fitment is damn near perfect. Yes Borla is pricey, but Amazong had the screamin' deal with almost 200 off MSRP. I am very pleased with this, and I highly recommend this system!

Easiest upgrade for your truck
If you are halfway mechanically inclined this goes on pretty easy. Make sure you have an impact type drill and you’ll have no problems. Looks and sounds great. Can’t really hear it unless you stomp on the gas. Exactly what I was looking for.

Expensive but you get what you pay for.
I agonized over the decision to buy a Borla Exhaust. I've read they are some of the best. I wanted the Borla ATAK but unfortunately they don't make them for 2015 Ram Rebels so I have to settle for a Borla S-Type.Why I bought it: My old stock exhaust rusted out. Borla offers a quality stainless steel product with a promise of performance gains and longevity. Like the title says, you get what you pay for. What I liked: The interior of my truck was quite loud due to my pipes having rusted out and snapped off right at the muffler. The new Borla's were quiet when cruising and plenty loud when first starting up or stepping on the gas. What I liked most: Borla's are expensive. The sound and performance gains are important. However, I bought the Borla's because I liked the quality of the product. The high quality steel with stainless coating means that its unlikely I'll have to spend money to replace my exhaust again within the life span of this vehicle. That is important when spending $900 or so on an exhaust system.Additional facts: Most of what I read said that you can only reliable expect 2-4 Horsepower in gains from a Catback exhaust system. Borla claims to increase power and torque but isn't bold enough to slap a number on it. I'm not saavy enough to be able to say what my gains were but I can say that I felt an immediate difference. Pedal response, torque, gear shifting and smoothness, all improved much more than I expected when getting on the gas. Either my expectations were too low or the new exhaust system provides a bit more gains than what all the talking heads like to write about.Either way. I'm happy with the product, its sound, the extra power, and the expected reliability of its ability to withstand corrosion.I don't regret it at all.

It was advertized as (cat-back)
The product was good, but to be a cat-back setup it needed an intermediate pipe that was not included. I ended up buying a stock intermediate pipe.

2017 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi Crew Cab
High quality parts. Excellent fit, no cutting/grinding/welding required. Removing old pieces was hardest part of this install. Replaced obnoxious loud muffler a previous owner installed that had a terrible in cab drone at low rpm. This fixed that problem and still sounds really good.

Sounds great, looks great, works great.
Outstanding quality, simple installation, terrific exhaust note, noticeable improvement in performance. Borla makes outstanding products, has a fantastic warranty (though I've never needed it), and a distinctive sound... The only way the could be better is if they cost less, but you definitely get what you pay for.
