Pilot Hi-Tec-C Coleto Gel Ink Pen Refill 0.5mm, 15-color Set(Japan Import) [Komainu-Dou Original Package]

I love the Hi-Tec-C Coleto, and I love the gel ink colors.I can't give a high rating to this product since I was only able to use less than half of the refills. Because of poor packaging more than half of the pen refills arrived broken. I didn't realize they were broken until I went to refill my pen. I tried to use them in spite of the broken state, but could not come up with a solution. not only do they not work, but they also float around inside the pen creating problems for your other colors.In the attached picture you can see that the red refill on the extreme right is good (one long line of plastic including the top piece), but all of those other colors are broken (the top piece is broken off and lying beside the top of the plastic ink tube). The broken refills are useless, unfortunately.Bottom line...use this pen, use the refills, but don't order from anyone who doesn't package them appropriately.UPDATE: The seller has contacted me offering to correct the problem. I didn't see the email as it had ended up in a spam folder. I've replied to their offer, and I'm now hopeful that I'll have a positive outcome to report soon.SECOND Update: The seller corrected the problem! Wow, thank you!

I've been using the Coleto pen with refills for a couple of months thus far. It is true, as I've read in reviews, that the ink goes pretty quickly; however, it is a great pen to own, especially if color coding is necessary with the added benefit of not having to switch back and forth between pens while writing. Because the refill packaging is in Japanese, I thought it would be a good idea to post the names of the color along with each corresponding item number.Black (LHKRF-10C5-B), Brown (LHKRF-10C5-BN), Blue Black (LHKRF-10C5-BB), Blue (LHKRF-10C5-L), Aqua Blue (LHKRF-10C5-AL), Cherry Pink (LHKRF-10C5-CRP), Baby Pink (LHKRF-10C5-BP), Pink (LHKRF-10C5-P), Green (LHKRF-10C5-G), Apple Green (LHKRF-10C5-AG), Orange (LHKRF-10C5-O), Apricot Orange ((LHKRF-10C5-AO), Violet (LHKRF-10C5-V), Red (LHKRF-10C5-R), Clear Blue (LHKRF-10C5-CL),Some time ago and before I found each item number, I placed an order for what I thought was PINK only to discover that I mistakenly ordered BABY PINK. I could not visually distinguish them apart. Since I've posted the item number for each above, anyone reading this won't make that mistake. But for those that are interested... the push tabs for both the baby pink and cherry pink are translucent in color with the cherry pink being the darker of the two; the tab for the pink is opaque. Also, the blues can be difficult in telling apart. While both the blue and blue black refills have an opaque push tab with the blue black being the darker of the two, the tab for the aqua blue is translucent.Happy writing folks!

First time using these pens. I loved the variety in colors and the fact that it even includes brown which I never see in pens. I wish it included the color name in English so I know which ones I have. I'm not sure if they have a wider color range but if so I'm definitely going to buy more. I got these to try out on my hobonichi planner. The work well on the tomoe river paper and don't smudge. There is shadowing but no bleed through or indentations on the paper from writing too hard. I got 0.5 because I was worried the thinner points would be to sharp on the paper and indent/rip the paper if I wrote too hard. I've included a sample of 5 of the ink colors on the tomoe river paper.

i LOVE my coleto! they write well, the colors are nice and bold. I like that you can interchange colors with pen bodies. I also have the .38 refils, which are a tad scratchy (and I like a fine point). the .5 are my favorite.

I priced these all over and Amazon had the cheapest price unless you wanted to wait over a month for them to ship from China. They are beautiful colors and last a bit. I wish Coleto made a .7. I bought the .5 which is the largest they have and well I'd still like a little thicker line. But that is personal preference and has nothing to do with these. They are easy to change out in pen barrel, are true to colour, and came in the colors that are listed. I will be buying again when mine run out. If you use an EC planner they don't shadow/ bleed through which is why I invested in them.

I did a lot of searching online to find the best price for these refills and Amazon beat it by far. I like to have several multi-pens for my planners and school notes so I was able to fill three with this one. They do seem to run out fast though so I may just order the colors I like in bulk.

I love these pens, and this is the best place I've found to order the refills. I've ordered them several times, and I've never had any problems with any of the refills. Write perfectly every single time! Will absolutely keep buying these!

These are great refills for the Coletto pen, come individually wrapped with the plastic ball on end to keep ink from running until you are ready to use. Love the fine point.
