FYI: For those of you saying it is not pure Lanolin and blah blah blah, please know that DAX makes "hair grease" as we say, not products for candles and whatnot. This product is for your HAIR and maybe your skin. Mainly hair. Review: Sta-sof is the only product that keeps my hair hydrated but it has been discontinued. I realized that maybe it's the Lanolin that helps my hair so I ordered this product. For now, it is working. Yay!!!

I have dry hair and have tried several different products to help keep it moisturized. I have ethnic hair that tends to dry easily, with a lot of breakage. So far this product works well. I have a huge decrease in hair breakage and definitely more shine after using. I would highly recommend. I don't think this would work well for very fine hair, but for my hair type, it works very well.

Even though some customers complain about the contents, this is still a good product for your hair, or at least my hair. My hair is softer, shiner, and the rats comb out easier than using plain water. This is my first time at growing hippie hair ( I'm 74)...Yes,I always had short hair but I hate going to the Barber.. Dax should rename the product correctly.

Very similar to my old standby VO5 normal/dry hair conditioner with lanolin - a bit more viscous or heavy going on, but does the same great job of conditioning my dry hair without greasiness. Both products restore shine and softness to my hair. Dax also has a bit fresher scent. I found that both products work best when worked in while the hair is still somewhat damp and warm from a shower. As far as cost, there is no contest. The price of VO5 as of this writing is around $6 for one and a half ounce tubes. This Dax container is seven and half ounces for about the same price.

Misleading title. Has multiple chemicals as I see now, HOWEVER, I saw the 100% Pure Lanolin on the cover and assumed the product was 100% Lanolin..... 😒 now the company has wasted people's time and money because I can't use it and Amazon has to drive All The Way Back to return it.

For as long as I can remember my mom has used Dax hair grease on me and sister's and brother's hair. Our hair was very very long. As an adult, I still use it, however, I do mix in other essential healthy oils. This jar of DAX has lasted us a very long time, it's a shame they don't sell them this big in the beauty stores anymore. Regardless of the long history I have had with dax as a go-to hair product, I will no longer use Dax. I am going a healthy route as far as my haircare products are concerned.

Valuable for what it is. Resembles Bag Balm so it is a good dermal protectant or other conditioner.

Parfait pour les cheveux secs. Mon amie afro-américaine m'a conseillé ce produit lorsqu'elle a vu mes cheveux épais et secs. Cela fait plus de 20 ans que je mets presque tous les jours ce genre de produit sur mes pointes (très très très peu sur le bout des doigts) et je n'ai plus de fourche et mes cheveux sont soyeux.
