Buttery Flavor Popcorn Topping (1 Liter)

This is the best! Great flavor. Might as well just say you bought your popcorn and poured that delicious butter all over it before you sat down to watch your movie at the theater! I also bought the amc movie theater popcorn and yummy combination! The bottle is huge, butter is creamy smooth. Great price. Easy to pour, it took the top off and made a little hole in the seal. Perfect!

This popcorn topping is AMAZING! I was recently on a search to find the perfect ingredients to make Movie theater style popcorn at home, and this butter topping oil is what several people online recommended along with Flavacol popcorn salt. I do not have any fancy popcorn machines, in fact I use the Hotpop silicone microwave popcorn popper that can also be found on Amazon for around 10 bucks. Fill it to the line with popcorn kernels, add a little of this oil and about 1/4 of a teaspoon of flavacol and pop in the microwave for 2 to 3 minutes. The popcorn comes out hot, seasoned and delicious! I always add a little extra of this buttery topping when it is finished and it tastes just as good (if not better) than the movie theaters! Seriously, if you want movie theater popcorn all you need is this popcorn topping and a little flavacol salt! Who knew authentic movie theater popcorn at home could be so easy and delicious! This is a definite must have if you love popcorn! You can thank me later!

Tastes slightly different than the butter at the movie theater but pretty dang close. Obviously, it's very unhealthy but very tasty 😄

I did not pay attention to the fact that you're buying a 1 liter bottle of this stuff, so I was surprised the bottle was so large for the price. I bought of those silicon popcorn poppers you can find on Amazon. I pour some kernels in it. I press the "popcorn" setting on the microwave and press Start and it automatically detects the status of the popped corn as it runs. I poured this buttery flavored oil stuff into a custard and heated it for about 2 minutes in the microwave then poured over the popped corn. I noticed this oil has a strong flavor, strong enough to overwhelm the seasoning I usually sprinkle on my popcorn. I couldn't taste my preferred seasoning over the stuff. I will say also that after I finished my popcorn, I noticed my face was oiled up from this stuff. I cna't imagine how strong other people find this flavor because I do have taste and smell issues.

I love popcorn. When I was a teenager, I popped and sold popcorn at a concession stand during ball games. There is just no better tasting popcorn than that type of popcorn, which is also like the popcorn at the movie theater and is typically popped with coconut oil and Flavacol salt. Decades ago, I purchased a commercial popcorn machine so I could make that same popcorn at home. For those who want the same buttery flavor of buttered popcorn from the theater, though, you need this popcorn topping. I have tried using melted butter and a wide variety of butter-flavored toppings over the years, but none of them will give you the same movie theater buttered popcorn flavor that this product does. A little goes a long way. About one tablespoon of this topping is ample to flavor a big bowl of popcorn without making it soggy or too greasy. A tablespoon of this topping is 120 calories. The only criticism to be made is the opening in this bottle is too big to sprinkle small amounts on popcorn. It has a foil safety seal on it when you first receive it, and by puncturing a small hole in it (as mentioned by a prior reviewer) you can limit how much comes out. But it would be ideal if this product had a limiter in the opening of the bottle, like a soy sauce bottle. This is a minor criticism, though, and should not sway you from buying this popcorn topping. The bottle I received had a cracked cap that wouldn’t seal the bottle properly. The Amazon third party seller, Concession Express, contacted me about it, wasted no time at all in making sure I was sent a replacement, and went far above and beyond what’s reasonable to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. Their customer service is outstanding, and I would not hesitate to purchase this product from them on Amazon again. If you like buttered popcorn, and you want it to taste as good or better than the popcorn you get at the movies, you definitely want to buy this topping. It is available in two sizes, one-liter (the size I purchased) and a gallon. The gallon size has a pump sprayer on it and would be more suitable for commercial purposes. The one-liter size will last a long time for an individual or family, though, even if you frequently make popcorn with it at home.

We love this stuff! I recommend keeping it in a cooking oil spray bottle. I just keep a bin marked “popcorn” in the pantry and it’s everything you need. I make the popcorn in our air popper then spread it on a sheet pan and spray it with this stuff. Better coverage this way with limited oil (or you can put lots on if you prefer). Hubby doesn’t like salt so I spray his with this and he says it’s just as good as theater popcorn! I do the same with mine but…I want salt so I have Flavacol popcorn salt too and together, that’s my perfect theater popcorn. YUM! COOKING OIL SPRAY BOTTLE: there are lots to choose from, but I love mine. I use the MISTIFI brand of oil sprayers and just wipe the spraying part clean before putting it away since we don’t make popcorn regularly. I keep Avocado oil in the other sprayer and that one I don’t wipe the spraying part since I use it every day. I’ve had the bottles since Jan 2022 and they work perfectly.
