Fits Pentair Tr100, to remove lid.
Used to remove black lid from Pentair Tr100 Sand filter. To remove and replace sand. Fits specific to teeth on lid, open and closed with no issues. I just keep it right on the lid for storage.

Strong moulding, had to apply some serious strain to unscrew the lid and wrench did the job!

Why plastic?
Why is it plastic? Please make a metal one or just any stronger material. I have an older but still highly functional Triton II filter and I broke 2 of these in a row. 3rd times a charm but come on.

Flimsy tool
I had to use a hammer and a piece of wood to loosen the filter cap before I could use the tool to turn the cap the rest of the way. It's made out of some kind of resin and appears easy to snap off the cap and then break. If it had a metal overlay and longer grips it would have worked, but, it didn't. My attempt at repair didn't succeed so I had to buy a new filter.
