My nine year old loved it, and started doing tricks within half an hour. The instructions are pretty clear and concise, and he was putting on a magic show by evening. It has a few small parts that tend to go missing, but the kit inspired my son to delve a little deeper and use his brain to come up with some tricks of his own. I'm glad I bought it and would buy it again.

Purchased this for my son who is 7. We chose this over the Melissa and Doug product, and have no regrets. My son has taught himself several tricks with little help from Dad and Mom. All of the props appear to be in goo working order and have held up under frequent use. Some of the tricks require some small motor skills that he has not yet mastered, but what better way to learn than to try?

Purchased this for a nine year old boy and wasn't sure how it would be received. This child had no experience with magic kits, and had never expressed an interest, but I wanted something different for him. He loves it and has had so much fun performing magic tricks for his family and friends (magic show for the family was a big hit, and a nice evening of family fun). I would purchase again.

I gave this Magic set to my little cousin as a Christmas gift. He loved it, it was a hit! He received lots of gifts on Christmas day, but it was the Magic set that kept his attention. It is a great starter set for kids interested in magic.

This was a present for a 10 year old's birthday. Neither one of us were impressed. It seemed to lack well a lot of things that make magic kits cool. The gift ended up shoved in the corner and not used again. Next time I'll spend more in order to get my money's worth.

I was expecting more tricks or just that whatever was is the box was fun to use. Not really. Example the want is just a piece if plastic with 2 white stickers at the end. Disappointed, i don't recommend it. Sorry. B

So So much fun. My boys ages 8 and 10 love this! They can do most of it on their own but they do need a little help figuring out some of the tricks! It was so inspiring to them we ordered more magic tricks!

This is a very cool kit that contains a little bit of everything in terms of skill level (all beginner but some take a little more practice) and variety of tricks. My nephew will have a blast with this! My only concern is that the parts are a bit flimsy/cheaply made but it is still a great value for the price.
