After 39 years, I finally know my blood type (AB+)!This kit had very straightforward instructions. I didn’t use the paper instructions and skipped right to QR code provided on the packet and watched the video instructions. The kit comes with two lancets, in case your first poke doesn’t produce enough blood. I recommend a tiny bit more pressure than just lightly touching it to your fingertip in order to get a decent sample. My first one wasn’t deep enough and I couldn’t squeeze enough out. This step is the most crucial in my opinion for a successful test result.I’m excited to finally know this informative tidbit about myself as I’ve been curious for years!The overall quality of this blood type test is well-made, reliable, and easy!If you’re curious to know your blood type, buy it!

Lancet works well, fast and easy-to-read results. You should read the directions a few times before starting. Great value considering how much this same test costs in a lab. With this kit…you don’t need to pay (probably an order of magnitude more) for a lab blood draw for this same test unless you need the result for a medical procedure

Clear instructions and straightforward process. I've asked my Mom my blood type and then promptly forgotten so many times that a friend recommended I buy on these and find out for myself. It doesn't solve my problem with forgetfulness but, for now, I know my blood type!

Took this test twice and it came out with different results each time. I am very disappointed with this home testing kit. I was really hoping that I wouldn’t have to go get another blood draw to confirm my blood type, but it looks like that’s the only way forward. Despite following the directions and applying the blood drops to the paper with the individual wands as directed, I got completely different results. Save your money.

I will admit that I am not a fan of needles, or really any object that starts out outside of me and at some point goes inside of me, other than through my mouth, of course. Anyway. You get my point. The lanceting part freaked me out a bit, is sort of the gist of what I'm getting at. But I really wanted to know my blood type because I'm sort of a nerd like that. And also safety information and all. Anyway, the instructions were pretty clear in regard to how to prick your finger right, and since finger lanceting isn't an activity that I normally do for fun, I was sort of expecting that, as the instructions implied, I would have to work to get the four drops of blood out of my finger, so I kind of dangled my arm for a few minutes and did the whole thing where you massage your finger and lancet the side close to the pinky finger, and I must have done an awesome job, because I got way more than four drops of blood! In fact, blood actually started dripping down my arm and soiled a perfectly good towel! Luckily, I did have more than enough blood to work with, so I scooped it up with the little plastic things and then went to get a Band-Aid. Since I was dripping blood, I wasn't able to do the whole "smearing around and tilting" thing in the instructions, but it's okay because I got clear results, and I'm happy announce that I am AB+, so I will never feel pressured to stick a needle in my arm and give blood again, since my blood is basically useless, and I have a card to prove it! Huzzah! And all that knowledge cost me was $12, about a pint of blood, and a highly disconcerting bruise on my left ring finger!

The kit worked great, was used for homeschool science experiment. Included everything needed in the kit.

Three years ago, when I gave birth to my daughter, I bought this blood type test kit. At that time, the blood collection didn't cause much bleeding, and the needle had a short range, making it easy to use. This time, I repurchased it to test my 8-month-old son's blood type. However, it seems that the blood collection needle might have a new supplier. After pricking my son's finger, the bleeding wouldn't stop and was hard to control. I noticed that the needle seems longer than before, causing a deeper wound. I suggest using shorter needles for blood collection. I don't highly recommend this for younger babies.
