Customer feedback led Unisen to create this keyboard with the budget conscious techie in mind. They've removed the laser pointer (often described as a neat but unnecessary option) and the rechargeable battery. Also, the backlight feature has been replaced by a ONE OF A KIND LED LIGHT for seeing in low lighting. The affordability of the Unisen iPazzPort KP-810-19BTT (Bluetooth) now makes this a household product for every room in the house. At this entry level price point, every room can have the flexibility and enjoyment of having a remote control keyboard. Like never before, this unit provides instant connectivity right out of the box. WITH TWO INCLUDED AAA BATTERIES, there is no need to wait for a battery to charge...or wait for the charge to die when you need it the most. Simply install the batteries, connect the included bluetooth dongle receiver (our pair directly through built in Bluetooth) to your PC, Laptop or supported Tablet and you are off and running. You can expect all the full features Unisen includes in its iPazzPort line, like a multi-touch Notebook Quality Touchpad (for pinch/zoom and smartphone finger gesture operations), multi language support, compatibility with Google TV and Smart TV systems, full multimedia controls (volume, play, pause, skip, fast forward and rewind), page up/down, 90 degree flip conversion from horizontal to vertical orientation, scrolling and more. While prices keep rising, Unisen has applied new technology that reduces costs without sacrificing performance and makes the latest technology available to everyone.

Works perfectly with bluetooth enabled devices
I've connected this to my android phone, and two windows computers, both with minimum effort. Both of these devices had integrated bluetooth, and I had to use the bluetooth pairing procedure as normal. I did not need to use the included dongle to do this. The keyboard appears to work reliably, and the trackpad also works well. It's very light and feels toy-like, although I can't say that there are any particular defects, so "it's light" is a dubious complaint. Pairing with Windows 7 (both successful computers) took a lot longer than I expected -- made me wonder if it actually worked or not -- this may have more do with Windows than this remote. The keys are very small, and it's easy to make mistakes, but that's probably unavoidable with a device this compact. It's perfectly responsive. It appears to have a microphone or speaker on the back, and I see no reason for this; I think other models by the same maker claim to have some speech-related features so it may be a generic case design. It also has an integrated one-LED flashlight which is an interesting novelty. The instructions on this device are not written by a native-English writer, and a few things are a little vague and a couple things appear to be incorrect. Nonetheless, it's very readable, and the instructions are detailed with screenshots and should get you through setup. You probably won't even need instructions if you've ever paired a bluetooth device before. My one disappointment is that the included bluetooth dongle doesn't appear to work. I hoped that the dongle could be used as a bridge to make this remote "look like" a USB keyboard to devices that don't support bluetooth. This seemed to be the point of the dongle, but it didn't work no matter what I tried. When I connected the dongle to a laptop without Bluetooth, Windows recognizes the dongle as a generic bluetooth radio, but ends up with driver problems that it can't resolve. I bought two of these remotes and have exactly the same problem with both. So, the bluetooth dongle doesn't act as a bridge (like I hoped), and also doesn't work as a bluetooth radio (which seems minimal), and it doesn't appear to be a unique defect to a single unit. I'd warn buyer's not to expect anything from the included bluetooth dongle. I didn't put a lot of effort into troubleshooting, though, as this was more a curiosity to me, and the devices for which I bought this remote have bluetooth natively. All in all, I'm very happy with the remote, and have recommended it to other people with media center PC's, and Android Sticks that you might want to attach to a TV, but which comes with no input devices. (like the "Bluetooth MK808B Dual Core Android 4.1 TV BOX Rockchip RK3066 Cortex-A9 Mini PC Smart TV Stick" that I bought here on Amazon). I haven't received the Android stick yet, so I can't attest to compatibility between the two, but I expect it to work.

Good for the money
Overall, this is a great handy little remote that serves mutliple purposes. As mentioned in the description, it uses 2 AAA batteries rather than needing to be charged and recharged which can be an advantage or disadvantage depending on how you look at it. At first it was a little bit difficult to figure out how to get it to pair because it is not clearly explained that in order for the pairing button to work on the remote, you must first press the function button, rather than just they key itself. Had I known this it would have saved me a ton of frustration trying to set it up. It does come with usb bluetooth dongle in case your device happens not to have built in bluetooth capability. Having the trackpad was a bonus although it is almost too small to use very seriously. Worked like a charm on my Toshiba Encore tablet. Good remote for the money.

Got exactly what I expected!
I wright this review using the iPazzPort Apache mini keyboard! After about a weeks worth of use I can say I love this keyboard!Once you get used to the keys, typing is quite smooth. As expected, the qwerty keyboard is quite tiny, and my hands large, if you use both your index and middle finger/thumb, typing is quicker than on a smart phone. Just be patient. After connecting it to my computer with no difficulty, figuring out the button mapping takes some patience. I have yet to figure out how to turn on the pc from sleep mode. Using (Fn 1) turns off the computer...during which, the red blinking indicator on the Bluetooth dongle provided with the keyboard turns off. How to signal the machine back on...? Some software for key mapping would literally put this product way ahead of its competitors. *hint*Especially those of us whom intend on using it for more than just pc use!Overall I love this device and look forward to applying it.

Uses AA batteries, meaning it will still work great in a few years unlike the built-in rechargable lithium models
Uses AA batteries, meaning it will still work great in a few years unlike the built-in rechargable lithium models that look almost identical to this one. Paired easily with my phone and my PC. Battery lasts a long time. Track pad is satisfactory after turning mouse sensitivity up to full in windows. Flashlight is kinda gimmicky and not what I look for in a keyboard but somewhat useful. Pretty good build quality. Cheap.

One star for durability, five for customer service.
I really liked the remote-control-size characterics of this device and seemed to work fine for one month and seven day, just outside the warranted time. Luckily Amazon has taken care of me and has refunded the cost of this device. One star for durability of the device, five stars for Amazon's customer service. P.S. I had just told some friends to buy one the day before mine bit the dust, I have since told them to be careful about durability issues and I'm looking for a similar device that I can show my loyalty to.

Works well enough with very good battery life
I have been using this mini keyboard and touchpad combo with a Dell Venue 8 Pro for the past 4 months in order to avoid typing mistakes from the tablet's overly sensitive touchscreen. The device has worked well and the original batteries are still going after almost daily use. Just don't expect to be doing any fast touch typing on this keyboard. The keys feel more like the old feature cell phone keys than an actual keyboard. If you are looking to compose lengthy emails regularly, look elsewhere.

iPazzPort™ Apache Bluetooth Mini Wireless Keyboard
This mini wireless keyboard really fits the bill. I use it to control a NUC that I use as a home media center. The wireless card in the NUC has Bluetooth and connects flawlessly to the keyboard.I know people who have had trouble with mini wireless remotes that work only over a very short range. This is not so for the Apache which works from anywhere in the room.Highly recommended.

Does the job reasonably well. However, the size makes it very fiddly and it doesn't always map the keys properly. Occasionally refuses to work at all.
