PRO DermaControl Foam Wash 8 oz - Packaging May Vary

I had a doctor recommend this to me when I was first starting Epiduo. I had previously been using an acne face wash, but it was drying out my skin and causing some redness and irritation. This foam wash is great! I continue to use it now even when I'm on a different medication. I'm an adult with sensitive, combination, acne-prone skin, and this face wash is great for me. I use it every morning in the shower and it doesn't dry my skin out or make it oily. Although my skin is still oily, I can tell the difference when I don't use this. I think it helps some with my acne, too. It has a very mild smell that I think it pretty pleasant. My skin always feels, smells, and looks clean and refreshed after using it. I will echo some of the other reviewers who said that it's a little annoying when you're at the bottom of the bottle and the dispenser gets stuck, but it's a small price to pay for a product I enjoy using so much. I only wish that they would fix the pump. Otherwise, a really great product!

I love this face wash! My dermatologist recommended it to me and gave me some samples to try out. I’ve been loyal ever since. I’ve been using it for about a year now and it has helped with my acne a lot. Since it’s a foam it feels very light when washing my face, but it’s better than any other scrub or face wash I’ve used in the past, and I’ve used plenty! Some people think they need to feel either a tingling sensation or like the wash is scrubbing the dirt off their face, but really a face wash doesn’t need that to be good. Like I said, when washing my face it’s just like putting foam on your face, no tingling sensation, no scrubbing, just foam. But it is great! It really helps with my acne and I absolutely love it. I had been buying the face wash at pharmacy or grocery stores, but now it’s more convenient ordering it on amazon. It’s also more affordable. At the store, it’s around $15. It was delivered quickly and just in time for when my previous wash ran out. I also use the Cetaphil Dermacontrol moisturizer with SPF, and I love it! This is definitely a brand that I trust for my face.

I have used this face wash for almost 3 years now. I have suffered with acne and oily dry skin my whole life. I started useing this and saw a complete turn around, and I have used everything over the years! You name it I have bought it. There are a few issues but they are not major issues, one the pump does sometimes have a problem, but I just switch it out with another since I buy these guys in threes or more. Second, my skin can get dry, but is easily managed with a tiny bit of moisture. I have found that no.7 skin cream works for me, but I'm sure there are others that are great. Before useing this face wash I could never use any lotion. It seems like this face wash is getting harder to find, and I hope they don't discontinue this face wash it would be tragic. I do recommend this face wash for anyone struggling with acne.

I've been using this cleanser since I discovered it and it helped with my fairly problematic acne. The foam is light and gentle on my sensative skin, and leaves my face feeling clean but not irritated or dried out. I think this product really helped to clear my acne. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the pump action design of the bottle becomes very annoying to use after its about half way gone. The top will stick down and you have to use two hands to be able to pull it back out and pump it down again, which is difficult if both those hands are wet and one already has a bit of foam in it. But other than that it works well and isn't enough to stop me from buying it again every time I run out. One bottle lasts about 6 months to a year for me, using every day to every other day.

Amazing! I have pretty oily skin, and I've tried everything for years. Somethings either make my face too dry and it peels, and others don't do anything at all. My best bet is to usually just use make up primer to stop the oily look on my skin. Keep in mind primer doesn't stop the oil, just absorbs it as it sits on the skin. So I was still oily, but it wasn't as noticeable with primer. However, THIS definitely solves my oil problems which in turn have helped my acne. I've been using this for about 2 weeks as of writing this review and I'm definitely not disappointed. I've previously used other Cetaphil face cleansers which have worked fine, but nothing particular targeting oil control.This foamy cleanser is a must have if you have oily skin. It is a bit pricier than other Cetaphil cleansers, but it works, and that's worth it's weight in gold. My only concern is for those skin not as oily as mine. If your skin isn't extremely oily, you may want to use it only a few times a week. Ultimately, coming from a long history of facial products, this takes the cake. FINALLY!

Very impressive product - I've been using this Cetaphil Foam Wash for the last ~18mo. which is the longest I've consistently stuck with one face wash product. Pros: - As someone with VERY oily and acne-prone skin, this product eliminates ALL oil from my face, but without leaving it dry - My face genuinely feels "like new" after washing...after a long-day at work and commuting through the subway, I can't wait to get home and wash my face with the Dermacontrol Foam Wash - Very effective at curbing my breakouts, particularly on my forehead Cons: - The pump nozzle consistently seems to "wear out" about 1/4 of the way through the bottle, which requires two hands to pump with...1 to hold the bottle and another to manually push up and down (the spring-action mechanism fails and the nozzle will remain stuck at the bottom otherwise)

My face still gets oily even after using this but does not leave a film on your skin and a great quality and scent and makes your face feels to soft

I loved it! Light, effective, not drying afterwards. I feel like my skin gets hyper clean after using it... perfect for acne prone sensitive skin like mine.

When I received the product it was leaking other then that good

Didn’t work for me, dried my skin out , spots remained, discovered Effaclar foaming gel which has transformed my skin in 4 weeks

As I have got older; I am now a 54 year old man, I have developed very oily facial skin. I have spent hundreds of pounds on all sorts of products to try and combat the excessive oil, but have failed until now. I have to admit that I had never heard of Cetaphil, but am now using the Dermacontrol foaming face wash and the moisturizer and they are both fantastic products. I would without hesitation recommend the Dermacontrol products.
