Best bra ever! This bra fits perfectly. It is so comfortable. The design is great and it helps keep me dry. I ordered more because I got rid of all my other bras.

Here's the thing: womens' breasts are all so different - in size, shape, distribution; weight; composition. So no bra is ever going to get rave reviews from everyone. For my 55-year old breasts, this bra fits well and gives me comfort and reasonable support without an underwire. I HATE underwires. I've tried many, many kinds and they all hurt - "comfortable underwire" is an oxymoron! In my experience, this bra holds up my less than perky girls with a thick band below the cups. This bra helps corral the side breast tissue that most older women tend to get, especially if they've had kids and the wide back helps smooth the dreaded back fat bulge. When you put the bra on, lean forward and kind of scoop all the breast tissue inside the cups. The high sides help hold everything in place and don't rub. I feel I have a nice shape in this bra, natural not uni-booby. But beware - it is NOT padded (although it is made from a fairly thick fabric and is not see-thru, at least not in the beige color), so if the temperature gets chilly, you may get a bit of nipple showage (unwanted? desired? depends...), so I recommend using those nipple covers (the silicone ones work great and are comfortable) if you expect cool temps and don't want the resulting effects. The sizing for me was a bit tricky. In my mind, I'm still that youthful 34B, but in reality, I'm now a 36 D or DD, depending on the bra. However, finding a 36DD is near impossible in most bras. The 38D, hooked on the highest set, seems okay for now. I have tried on many, many, many bras in my search for the perfect one (thank you Amazon for free returns!). What I really want is something like hairspray for boobs - arrange them just like you want then presto - they'll stay just where you put 'em! Or maybe a shrink wrap type of thingy (breathable, of course) that wraps and holds the perfect shape. But alas, until that day comes, I've at least found a workable solution that is supportive, comfortable, provides a nice shape and is not expensive.

As an experienced veteran of the "Bra Wars", I have been there done that with almost every style of bra you can imagine. Most of them have been very uncomfortable, poor fitting, and costly mistakes. This one is head and shoulders above the rest and it is the best bra I have ever owned. It is comfortable, supportive, attractive to look at and good fitting. In my younger days, I could only dream of a bra that I could put on and forget that I am wearing it. All day long, I feel relaxed and supported and at night when I get undressed, I find that my bra is still in place with no sagging in the front, no bulging and spilling out the top, no straps that slide down my arms, and no riding up in the back! It is soft, breathable and absolutely perfect.... Well ALMOST PERFECT! I have ONE COMPLAINT. NOT ENOUGH COLORS. Do you see the line up of nice colors in the ad???? Well, apparently, pretty colors are ONLY for small chested women. Those of us with DDD cups have to settle for white, black or nude. The pretty pinks and browns are seldom available in larger sizes. ***Sigh!*** If this bra was available in a wide variety colors that came in MY SIZE, it would be a 5+ star rating. But as it is, I cannot find great colors in my size, and the color selection for this bra in any size at all is very limited. I recently found it on Amazon in a rare Duchess Rose, and I snagged it up as fast as I could because I saw that there was only 1 available in my size. Now, I check back every single day to see if I can score one in brown. I'm not holding my breath, though. Playtex! Hear This! How about making the 4049 in red? in sapphire blue? in teal? in peach? in lime green? in a floral or a leopard print? Why consign us big girls to wear bras in BORING colors or else drive us to Lane Bryant to buy their Cacique "Torture Bras" with wires that impale us and backs that slide up to our necks? I don't ask much in life, but a 4049 in a pretty aqua and green color scheme would be more luxury that I could ever hope for. When that happens, I promise to come back here and give this product the 5 star rating that it really deserves!

Like -The wider shoulder straps, The wider hook closure and the color of the material. Dislike- fit was horrible in the front: the cups were much too big so the fabric sagged and wrinkled not really supporting me. Shoulder straps are not adjustable which is a trade-off for the comfort level. It did not cup well for my shape,(somewhere between a perfect half melon and a pointy breast) so created unnatural wrinkles and bulges visible through a t-shirt. It also seemed too big of a cup to be the size I ordered because I had way way too much extra space up front.and that caused the problem with the wrinkles and bulges of fabric. The band size was accurate. The band is much more comfortable than cheaper copycat bras that chafe right away. Yes I would recommend it for someone with bigger breasts and would suggest trying one size smaller than they usually wear. Yes they are comfortable because of the three hook closure and The wider shoulders.

Bras are not fun. At least Playtex makes tolerable items like this. Looks good under a shirt. Adjustable. Stays put. Easy to wash. I swore off wires, I don't need that in my life.

Before I ordered this I double checked the size on the Playtex Store that was listed with the product. It said that I should order the size that I did order, which is the size I needed. Well, I tried it on and I could not even hook it on the first set of hooks that was on the outer part of the band, and that band was very tight. So, I guess these run a lot smaller than I was expecting. I even checked the size in the band it was said the size that I had ordered.

Most comfortable bra i have owned in a while. Should have bought one years ago!

Ce model est devenu mon préféré . J' ai toujours acheté des soutiens gorges avec baleine , mais j'ai pris du poids et les baleines me rentraient dans la peau sous les bras . Avec ce model , c'est le confort ! La bretelle a une belle largeur et tien bien . Le tissu est doux et souple , et ni trop mince ni trop épais . Parfait !

Why is it so hard to find. If Playtex still sold in UK I would probably taken an E cup. This is good quality, thick but not padded supportive fabric and constructive. Lays well under t shirts no rucking or rippling. Even though a tad small I'm not bulging out the top. Extremely comfortable to wear. Shame the UK manufacturers think all customers who seek unwired bras still wear pettycoat slips and blouses! Thank you Playtex.
