The blue and red don't have great contrast, but all the rest have good contrast.
These color change fairly easily and are pretty good contrast. Only the blue and red ones aren't super; the blue turns into teal and the red turns into a sort of orangey color. Purple turns to pink, green has yellow, orange turns yellow, red turns orange, blue turns sort of a lighter teal. If they don't seem super-high contrast initially, we found that putting them in the fridge for 3-5 min seems to ensure all of the pencils reset back to their "normal" color. Warm hands work best, but if your hands are a bit cold, rubbing the pencil also works due to friction. Pretty good!

Pretty good
Sharpened well, wrote well… They are the fuzzy kind of wood when sharpened, if you know what I mean, but the lead didn’t loosen or anything. Mine don’t seem to warm up as vibrant as some of the other reviews I’ve seen, so I wonder if that varies… but overall seems like a pretty good product 👍

So Cool!
This product is a great value for the money, made of great quality, durable, easy to sharpen and easy erasability, comfortable grip and the color-changing effect is super cool and unique! My daughter kept putting it in front of our portable heater to get the colors to change. I wish I would of taken a video/photos, but she took these into school to give one to each student in her class room. I will for sure be purchasing this product again in the near future though! I highly recommend this product also!

pencils do change color
Great pencils which change color as they say they do. I wish they were a bit cheaper but they're fun and the kids liked them.

They don’t change colors. Rip off.
Waste of money. Only the blue changes and it’s not that much. Buy another brand. $15 is a rip off.

AAkron Color-changing Pencils (like a mood ring)
Most of the colors changed to something different enough from the original that it was fascinating and fun to see the change. A couple of the color differences were slight so they were a bit disappointing. It takes quite warm hands to effect the change and it does not linger as I thought it would. The kids. . . love 'em!

Fun party favor
Fun for party favors, easy to sharpen, and good value for the money. Our kid likes having a pencil with him to practice writing and drawing.

Every year I order these pencils as a gift for my students. I was supposed to receive a packet of 24 pencils, but the bag was broken and only received 20 pencils.
