Eagle Lights 5.75 inch 8900AH-B LED Headlight with Integrated Turn Signals for Harley Davidson

I have struggled to find parts for this '16 sportster. This is the first purchase I've made and got something that was correct. Fits perfect with the old hardware. I have yet to try it at night but I'm definitely going to find out tonight. In the near future I will figure out how to wire in the turn signals. But I've got a perfect week for riding so I'm not messing with them right now.

So my wife got her first Harley (or motorcycle for that matter ever) which was a 2016 xg500, perfect for a new rider. We changed out common things like grips, seat and headlight. She liked this particular light and Eagle makes some nice stuff, so we went for it. The biggest or most difficult part of the installation was the turn signals. There is no way to run the wires for them into the headlight housing unless you drills some holes. I am a very skilled person when it comes to these things and have modded multiple Harley's in my day. For the average person this would not be any easy install. Also, there's no difference between the left or right turn signal wires (both brown) and the instructions were no help so it was a guess at first but it turns out the top brown wire (when the light is orientated properly) is the right turn signal. The red wire or position wire that they say to splice into the yellow wire is the accessory light on this bike so if your bike is equipped with one you'll have to splice into that harness. The light itself gets all ground or negative through itself so you will have a few wires just cut and left alone. I ended buying some rubber grommets and fed the wire through them after drilling into the housing and created a waterproof hole (link to grommets at the end). There is plenty of room in the housing and some may need load resistors, I did get hyper flash but honestly don't care I know some will but it's eye catching and grab other drivers attention. I'd recommend having some heat shrink on hand as well (buy a precut variety pack for 12 to 22 gauge wire or something close to that, I have Kit I found here on Amazon) and I used spade connections to hook up the loose wires (male and female). All in all the light is excellent, extremely bright and it removed the guady turn signals. If you're looking for a plug and play get one without the integrated turn signals. Put this light on and first ride out the headlight got moisture inside anyone else have this problem

Put this in my 2016 Honda Fury and it makes a huge difference. Would highly recommend it. Need to know how to hook up wiring to make turn signal part work but headlight is just plug and play
