Short end Allen wrench set
There are times you need a short Allen wrench in areas where normal length Allen wrenches cannot fit. Long length is standard size but the short end is around half the standard length. Good quality wrenches. Ordered metric. Typical selection of sizes in set. Nice holder keeps wrenches together.

AMAZING!!!
These fit in super tight spaces and then are sturdy enough to turn. The seat height on my daughter's wheelchair is supposed to be adjustable, but somehow it got loose and slipped all the way to the bottom while the battery was in place. The seat post blocked the battery in place with an end result that the battery could not be removed (thus defeating the portable part) and the seat could no longer be adjusted. And, there wasn't enough clearance to get to the nut and loosen it. These pictures are from where I was trying to get the distributor to repair it, but they couldn't do anything either. So here we were with an $8000 power chair that was essentially useless. Out of desperation, I searched for Allen wrenches for tight spaces and found these. I figured I'd give it a try. Well, I am happy to report that I was able to get them into the crevice and loosen the bolt. Raised the seat post up and there we are good to go. I have had stubby tools before that are made for tight places, but they are also usually too short or too thin to get any leverage. These little wrenches are not only compact, but they are also thick and sturdy.

Very useful
These are likely to fall into the category of tools that, once you own them, you wonder how you ever managed without them. If you work a lot with hex keys, you are likely to use these in a variety of tight spaces. In the past, when in a situation without other options, I would shorten a hex key in order to maneuver into a tight space. However, it is difficult to cut and finish a hex key so as to keep the points of the hexagon sharp. A single altered key is additionally easy to misplace. These keys by Bondhus allow me to cope with most of the tight situations and I find that I tend to use them more and more such as when I could you use a regular hex key as well, but only after removing something additional first or really struggling. The ball end is a bit iffy for me in terms of practicality: you lose torque when applying the key off axis and you lose it with a shortened other end of the L. Most often I would rather use the ball end of a regular hex L-key. When working with the key, while not fully seeing what your are doing, remember to seat the key well before starting to turn. An alternative to these keys is a pocket ratchet with hex bits, such as Neiko Pocket Size Drive. It might not work in all situations such as these shorty keys, but it adds screwdriver functionality for tight spaces.

Nice wrenches; case, not so much.
Nice wrenches- the case is a bit wonky though. Hard to get the wrenches out initially and now they fall out on their own.

I'm always impressed by Bondhus quality on their tools and an even better price point makes this product worth it! They have tested their products against other US competitors and they are miles ahead! Their claims that they are 20% better than their competition is quite a modest statement. Better in torque, angling, and overall finish! The ProGuard finish is smooth but also feels as though it won't break or rust easily. They also claim to have much better rust protection than the rest and I don't doubt them on that. The only (minor) downsides are the initial break-in (tough getting them out of the holder) and the feel of the keys in your hand. They have a slightly rough finish to them which isn't a major concern but does leave residue in your hands on the first few uses (probably due to the ProGuard finish?). If this is an issue for anyone, I'd recommend the BriteGuard finished products. Overall, the stubby design is really well made and these keys will not let you down in a tight spot!
