this is solo album from fenriz of darkthrone,most of it was recorded as early as 1989 predating some of darkthrones work,its a good mix of mellow soundscapes and ferious black metal,its so dark and dirty and almost unsettling at times and then in the next song it can be replaced by a really calm and beautiful but still disturbing piece of music,not a perfect album by any means but a worthy addition to any fan of black metal indeed

If I had to describe this album in one sentence, I would say it sounds like a more folk-based darkthrone, with poorer production and more experimental tracks. The problem is, that description does not give it justice.If your a fan of more primitive black-metal, track this down. You might have to let it grow on you though...
