JET Cabinet Floor Stand, for JMD Series Mill Drills (Model CS-18)

Someone do the homework, solid after the ensemble, the mill holes right the only is a dig in one of the panels but great product

Not a problem with the product, just the handling. It came damaged. The upside was, the return process was helpful and I was refunded in a very reasonable amount of time.

It is very thin material, the front and back panels were warped Trying to line up the clips that hold the sides in place was difficult because of the warpage The drip pan was bent because of the banding material around it in the shipping box ( again thin material) I guess it will work but for the price you would think it would be made better I would have been better off if I would have built one myself Live and learn.

The stand works perfect with my 1987 Menards Rong Fu RF30 MillDrill which is the same as the JMD18. Please note that the stand is not as pictured and is truely the current model stand Jet sells. The door is on the side and not the front and the legs span the entire depth of the stand and are not individuals like in this picture. The door handle is a star handle bolt not the spring loaded latch. It is basic sheet metal but it is supported well and holds MillDrills just fine.

Very sturdy and professionally made. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the mill I had purchased from Harbor Freight back in 2002 (Now discontinued) fit this stand perfectly. The only problem I have with it is that it's too short to use while standing, so I'll have to get a 2 foot stool. Also, the hole for the door has the wrong size thread for the door handle bolt. Luckily, I happened to have the correct size tap tool, so that solved the problem quickly.

I bought this Jet stand to hold my son's recently purchased mill/drill. The package arrived in fine shape but there were some issues that I don't equate with a quality product. The first thing noticed as we began assembling the stand was some sharp edges on the sheet metal parts. No cuts but since people will be reaching inside the stand to access stored items the edges will need to be fixed. Next we found the tabs used to align and secure the side panels had to be pried open to allow them to mate with the front and back panels. Got that done and then realized the instructions failed to indicate a lock washer should be used with each of the hex bolts. Not a big deal but instructions should be more detailed. We also found the door did not match the opening in the front panel. A few whacks with a hammer and the door fit but since these are stamped parts it is hard to understand how Jet can't make a square door fit a square opening without the customer having to do the final shaping. On the plus side the stand looks nice and feels very sturdy so should not be any issues holding the mill/drill. We have not mounted that yet so I will update this review when that is completed.

Took quite awhile to ship. But came very well packaged and had all the necessary parts. Overall good sturdy build. Needed 5 adult guys to lift the mill onto the stand. Would recommend this item.

It’s a stand with No Option to buy the Working piece. When I arrived I came to the conclusion I can’t drill holes with just the stand. So I went back to purchase the Drill and there no option to buy the Drill. Was bent all to hell when it got here.
