It’s fine for a cheap skinny belt
Needed a new skinny belt for a dress whose belt had seen better days. This works just fine for that. It is pretty long, but works for me because my dress has a loop in the right spot for me to tuck the belt into so I don’t have a long flap of excess belt

Actual length less than described
The belt is fine, pretty even. HOWEVER. Although the length of the belt from nose to tail is 42", the maximum as-is useful length is 36-3/8" -- which has to include the bulk of the garment. If you add a hole and hold your breath, you can get up to 39". Yet another clothing disappointment for the plus size population.
