Hagerty Silversmiths' Pump Spray Polish 8 Fl Oz (Pack of 1), Blue

This product is very easy to use, as silver polishes go. It does a wonderful job with very little effort. My only complaint is that the pump spray does not work, it appears to clog. I followed the instructions on the Hagerty web site video which suggested using terry cloth to clean and polish. The spray would not work, so I put the polish directly on a wash cloth, worked it in, let it set for a minute, and then polished with a clean terry towel. No rinsing needed and the finish is beautiful. The true test will be the length of time before my silver starts to tarnish. I had previously used the areosol Hagerty spray, which had a very strong odor and had to be rinsed. This product has little to no odor. I will definitely use this polish again, but I hope Hagerty perfects the spray pump.

I use this on all of my Pandora jewelry. For some reason, it was tarnishing incredibly fast. It’s been two weeks and I never take them off and they still look good. Be careful using it on pieces with stones. Other than that it’s a great product.

I have purchased both of the Hagerty Silversmith's polish. I bought a case of the aerosol spray to our store use and to sell. The product worked fine except the nozzle on the can clogged almost after every use after it had been used some. It was so bad that we could not retail it for fear of customers returning the product. We have also purchased the non-aerosol pump spray. We have had great results with this product. The spray seems to come out of the container a bit more fluid and only clogged up once. Would recommend purchasing this pump spray over the aerosol can. This product does a great job of cleaning tarnish from sterling silver pieces that are not tarnished real dark. It also leaves a tarnish retardation film on the item. I suggest after cleaning the item that you run water on it and then dry it off to remove any smell left by the product. (the aerosol spray when used puts out an unpleasant odor so that we could not use it in sales area of our store. The pump seems to not put out near as bad odor.

This works amazingly well!! Just cleaning up my silver jewelry…first…. Then my silver decor items.., woks very well So far and much easier too!!!

Although the product itself does a great job I’m over 70 and I found it extremely difficult to press the pump with one finger as is required. I’m thinking of transferring the product to another pump container.

Doesn't work. Bummer. The black tarnish on the spoon in the picture is AFTER 2 treatments. I left the liquid on for 5 minutes the second time. You tube videos with foil, vinegar, baking soda, and boiling water actually remove tarnish.

Easy to use. Hopefully it will help to prevent tarnishing for a long time
