Does this work on vinyl windows?

Yes. I have vinyl windows at my linai. The bottle states it is good on acrylic windows but does not address vinyl though.

Is it safe to use on plastic glasses lenses? I tested on a pair: amazing result.

The bottle label warned against using on acrylic material so I would guess not.

can it be used in cold weather

I don't see why not other than extreme below freezing weather. I like the Zep more than I do Windex. Plus Amazon can get it to you pretty quick... cheap. Zep is not always easy to find in stores. I remember Zep from years ago as more of a commercial product line... 1 gallon bulk refills are available from Amazon too.

Will Zep clean plastic windows? Our sunroom faces a golf course and the windows are all made of a plastic substance.

Hmm, I would think so. Enlarge the label or read the description if provided to see if it's okay to use on plastic without clouding it up or yellowing. It's the best for cleaning glass and mirrors, beats Windex.
