Far more attractive than pictured
Exactly what I was looking for! The seller's picture does not do the tiles justice. The tiles arrived faster than expected, well-packaged, and in excellent condition. I ordered 22 tiles, plus three extra in case of breakage during transit, as one normally does for tile, but there was no damage. There are two sections (out of 450 total) that I will replace with bits from the spare tiles, one due to a chipped surface I don't like the look of, and one with too many "bubbles" for my taste, but both were to be expected with a natural, minimally processed product. Lots of soft color variations of reds and blues and natural divots lend a rustic, natural feel. I love the occasional bit of quartz peeking through the rock. I will buy again when I get to the kitchen remodel.

CON
The cost to ship back to you was $46.78 per box. This is a rip off. Color not close. When you get it, you must pay for return ship, not even worth the trouble. Cost as much to ship back as it is to just purchase the darn tile. Guess I'm stuck with this junk. Also it is not five square feet. It is five one square FOOT tile. Such a rip off.

Beautiful Tile
The packaging on these tiles was great! They come 5/box and the tiles are separated by a plastic sheet then wrapped in plastic and the box filled with foam so they cant slide around or move while being shipped. I also got them within a few days of ordering them!As previously stated the tiles do look very pale and mostly white straight out of the box but after washing them and sealing the stone the color really comes out and they are very vibrant! My husband was concerned about that after reading other reviews so we ordered a sample first and washed it up and sealed it and it was perfect so if you are concerned about that the sample is a great way to go and i got it in only 2 days!We have the back splash completed and it looks amazing!

... just recieved my 6x6 sample and I am very pleased with the quality feels like the real thing
I just recieved my 6x6 sample and I am very pleased with the quality feels like the real thing, not thin and fake feeling or looking, the sample I recieved is showing an orange light brick color and all the beiges several different shades of beiges are muted with different shades of grays and browns, the sample has 5 pcs of tile on it showing the biggest to smallest sizes. It is a light orange color on the orange pc not a red like some have mentioned in their reviews. My sample shows know white either. It looks very expensive. Its also not shiny as in the pic on web site, that apparently comes after it has been sealed. I'm wondering what color grout to use?? Picture on web to me looks like it has some spots of blue, i was hoping for this and am hoping that the grays will give a hint of blue when installed. I am impressed..

Great variance
The Scabos has great color variance, and only small to medium pockets. If you like less red, yellow, brown and an overall lighter tile, the Philadelphia is just that, though you'll need to assemble your own patterns. Both are great, though the Philly has some big swaths of very light. This pattern is good for small to moderate sized tiling. If you'd like a little more variance for medium sized areas, look into the Scabos Travertine 4-Pieced OPUS Mini-Pattern .We chose The 3-piece Scabos pattern for our backsplash. We're using the 3x6 Scabos Tiles for our window sill. The Scabos 12" Quarter-Round is doing our right angles (it's not really quarter round, but it works the same way, only larger). Finally, along the top edge, we're using the 1/2" Pencil Liner which is basically 1/2" thick bull-nose. It's almost an inch deep, which is a little more than we want, but we hope to use a thicker layer of mortar under the tiles to keep the liner from sticking out as far.Anyway, all that, for our planning. Why? Because we love this tile. We bought a samples of all of them, the hex, 1", 2", 1x2, 2x4, 4", 3x6, 4x6, 6x6 and were VERY happy with all of them. The Scabos is best for us because of the amount of variance in color. It helps offset some of the pattern repetition without standing out.If you want a more traditional, lighter limestone color, then pick the Philadelphia tiles and use a light, thin grout. Alternatively, you could get 1x2 and 2x4 tiles and stack them. It's much more tile to use, but will give you an interesting look if your counter can hold the weight, or if you anchor a mesh to your wall to hold the mortar.

Pick up a bottle of Tile color enhancer andwatch it pop
Reading the negative reviews all basically said the same thing... color was washed out. Pick up a bottle of Tile color enhancer and watch it pop. Very good looking tile if done right.

outstanding quality
We purchased this for the floor of a walk-in shower in our master bath that is being done in plum and white with cabinets in an antique white finish. It is absolutely gorgeous and not a single piece was broken in shipping!
