Very good pestle set. My wife like it very much.Easy to grind and cleaning easy.Also very good black base support to avoid lines, vibrations and major sound.

I always look for a mortar that works perfect for grinding or smashing the ginger and garlic together . The piece itself is heavy and the pestle hold is very firm and easy to grind it .

Yes this review is for the mortar and pestle. No granite taste in the mix, it’s big enough for a good amount of guacamole (4 people) i’ll Eat it all myself though.

Use for grinding herbs / oils. Like the fact it does a great job with grinding herbs. The one dislike is it takes effort to insure is cleaned completely

Easy to clean and very durable

The mortar and pestle arrived well packaged in a nice box. It’s a good size and has a great feel to it. I bought it as a gift for my 11 year old son. So far he has ground up candy canes for hot cocoa and blueberries for paint. He wants to try grinding acorns. It has a pad on the under side to protect working surfaces, which I appreciate.

I like that it gives me a means to grind fresh herbs and spices. Downside is its weight. Awkward to transfer contents directly over a pan. Best to spoon out to a small container first.
