No pets in my crawlspace.... Yiiippee !
Great Crawlspace Vent Covers – Easy Install and Effective I recently installed these crawlspace vent covers, and so far, I’m very pleased with the results. Installation was straightforward and easy, and they fit securely over my existing vents they look good too. The build quality feels solid and durable, and they provide a much cleaner, more finished look to the exterior of my home. I primarily got them to help fewer pests trying to sneak in. Overall, a simple upgrade that makes a big impact. Highly recommend if you’re looking to seal things up and protect your crawlspace.

Glad They Are A Well Made Product
There were so many to choose from, but I didnt' want plastic. These have easy slide closures for the winter, they look nice and were not too difficult to install. Win, win, win.

Fireproofing your subfloor vents
I guess these are made for brick and mortar walls. I'm going to try to use them on my T1-11 sided home. I'll build some trim and mount the aluminum vent frame to 1x2 trim before I install it on the house wall. It's great for closing your foundation vents when there's a fire approaching.

Seems quite suitable and secure from intrusions
Although the fact is there were not many choices in this size, I am pleased with everything but the price, which seems high but competitive by today's standards. I have installed one and have two to do yet. I used construction adhesive for fitment and a diamond wheel in the angle grinder for tweaking the opening due to previous mortar needing to be removed. Seems I had to massage one of the dimensions a bit but not much. Once secure in the opening, it seems quite suitable and secure from intrusions.

Great Vents...
Most vents available from the big box stores are plastic and pretty flimsy....These are well made, sturdy and look great when installed. The size is true to the description, and pretty easy to install and the vent closure operates good. Would highly recommend these, vents of this quality are hard to find, i could not find any comparable locally...Will add photo later...it is currently raining!!
