This mailbox is beautiful and plenty big for letters, magazines, small to medium packages, etc. The hardware provided is a little on the cheap side and silver, which doesn't match the bronze color at all, but they're on the inside so it's not that big of a deal. A quick trip to a Lowe's type place and you can pick up sturdier hardware to match your color, if you so choose. The mailbox attaches to the wall with two screws up top, so the bottom is essentially hanging free. I would suggest you either add a little double-sided tape or some bumper pads to the back, which is what I did, so as to prevent your mailbox from loudly banging on the exterior wall every time you use it. Along the same lines, add a little WD-40 or similar lubricant to the top hinges as soon as you receive it, as it will start loudly creaking shortly after installing every time you open it. I guess that also depends on the weather where you live, but might as well take care of it ASAP. I am very happy with the mailbox, especially after the little additions or adjustments I made, and it looks great outside my front door.

I didn't find any others that had a vertical orientation, large size, with a modern look. The lid on the first one they sent was clearly off-centered. I contacted the seller and they sent me a replacement.

I love the look of this mailbox. It's sleek finish is gorgeous and it really pops. The craftsmanship is sub par at best. I had to space the top side of the box to mitigate it hinging on itself when opening the lid. The hinges are off center and drives my OCD crazy! I can mitigate the lid issue with spacers but the offcl center lid is horrible! Also the lid doesn't have enough friction/resistance to hold open when lifted up. Not a big fan of that either.

The size is what I was looking for allows the mail box to be closed and protect even the largest envelopes. It is very sturdy, was easy to mount and I love the nuteral color.

I love the look of this mailbox and it didn't let me down when it arrived. Only downside was a few sharp bits I noticed when putting my hand inside. It also doesn't have a lot of space but who needs to order an elephant these days...Beauty first!

These are really great mailboxes! These are nice and big, finished on the inside as well as the outside, and the lids open and close nicely without any squeaking or catching. The vertical style is nice, and this is a really nice shape that fits any aged house without being hideously old fashioned or tacky, or too modern or flashy looking. I purchased two of these to mount next to my front door - one for mail and all of my many Amazon packages, and the other for my newspapers. My old mailbox was a decent sized horizontal wallmount shape, but thinner material, and our paper boy has a tendency to really mash the big weekly newspaper into the box, sometimes crushing or ripping any mail inside, along with the newspaper. On top of that, it didn't fit envelope packages that well, so usually they would just be left on the front door step, at the mercy of the elements. Now with a pair of these oversized boxes, all my mail, along with any letters and even larger envelope parcels fits very nicely into the box, and the lid still closes securely so dirt or dust (or now - piles of snow) won't blow into it. Also my newspaper now fits perfectly into this large vertical box without being crushed. All the inside edges on the lid and box have been smoothly rolled as well as powder coated, so there's no cut fingers or catching my sleeve reaching into the boxes. The lids on mine stay up when fully opened (flush with the wall) and it is very easy to grab any items from the boxes. These are smooth finished steel boxes, so I purchased some vinyl letter stickers to label "news" on one of the boxes so my paper boy can really see which box is now for the newspaper. This powder coating is even and vinyl letters stick perfectly to it. Both of my boxes were securely shipped without damage. Both of mine also came with screws and anchors, although I used my own as my house is solid brick. With the two anchors at the top (securely fastened) these boxes are holding very tightly to my brick wall, without so much as a niggle. These aren't the cheapest mailboxes in the world, but for the price of mailboxes in my local hardware stores, these are a bargain for the size and quality. Also love the different shape, it's unique for mailboxes (at least in my area) and it suits the charm and character of my little mid-century bungalow. My boyfriend saw these and has approved of their nice design and quality over our old box, and my post lady has given me a big thumbs up because now she can easily toss anything in there without worry. I am really really happy with the style and quality of this mailbox - I was originally thinking to purchase the fancy Umbra box but wasn't sure how it would look with our 1960s house. I am really glad I went with these as the size is actually bigger and I feel these are really solidly constructed. I also love the red colour option (so cute!) and would have gotten that colour if we hadn't just ordered a new (and blue) front door. Excellent mailbox for the price. Style is unique compared to anything I could get locally. Price is better than other oversized mailboxes and these shipped very quickly through Amazon without any issue in transport. Definitely would not hesitate to recommend.
