I’ve been taking Thorne Prenatal Vitamins for several months now, and I’m really happy with them. These pills are easy on my stomach (no nausea or discomfort), and I feel confident knowing they use clean, well-absorbed ingredients without unnecessary fillers. No nasty taste or acid reflux with these. I still take them postpartum

I wanted to like this vitamin but I've taken them two days in a row and vomited shortly after. I can't bear the smell of the vitamins even before the bottle gets opened. I'm disappointed as I spent money on these vitamins and can't even finish them. Update: I'm adjusting my rating for the excellent customer service and quick response. I am willing to try different products from their line when I am no longer pregnant. 5/26/25 postpartum update: I decided to give the prenatal vitamin another chance because I really like the ingredients and that this brand does 3rd party testing. I'm able to better tolerate the smell. I do notice my milk supply increases when I take the vitamin and my milk is lower in supply when I forget to take it, not sure if it's a coincidence or if it actually helps boost supply. I am happy with the vitamin and will continue to use Thorne!

I don’t love that you have to take three of them but it’s really not a big issue- they’re easy to swallow. I take them with the prenatal DHA and those are also easy to swallow. I take the pills with food and I don’t notice any stomach upset or any other issues when taking them. I really appreciate that the company uses the types of folate, iron, and B12 that they do. I recommend reading about them and why they are superior. Very thankful to have access to these.

I started taking the Thorne Prenatal to help regulate my cycle. I stopped taking birth control about a year ago, and about 7 months later my cycles completely stopped and I went 3 months without a period. After starting this prenatal, my cycles immediately went back to normal. My skin is also the softest and smoothest it’s ever been, and I typically struggle with hormonal acne. The only downside is the flavor, but I take it with orange juice and it helps mask it. Will update if needed!

The prenatal vitamins have a very good ingredient list, but unfortunately they made me feel very nauseous. It might be individual sensitivity, or possibly because the doses of the vitamins are quite high

I've been taking these for 1.5 years. I took them my entire pregnancy and then continued through my breastfeeding journey. I'll say this: I definitely notice when I stop taking them. I feel so lethargic and slow when I've skipped a few days. Most recently I didn't have them for about 2 weeks becauase my subscription got messed up and I can feel the nutrients depleting from me... I'm not even being dramatic. I generally eat a well rounded, nourishing diet but (like any American) I have gaps. This supplement does a great job filling those gaps. My only thing is that they really don't smell good. During my first trimester it took all of my effort to get past the smell and get them down. But now that I'm used to it, it's alright. All in all, I would definitely recommend these to any pregnant or nursing mama.

I LOVE these. I started taking them a few years ago. I don't do great with pills while pregnant so I mainly took them leading up to and postpartum with my last 2 babies. They helped with the low energy postpartum and slowed the hair loss. I had 2 babies in 18 months so it was getting bad. I started taking these again and after a week, the hair loss went back to normal shedding and started growing in.

***I am writing this review as someone who has taken this prenatal before and after getting pregnant because my review would be different for each experience if possible.*** My doctor had recommended this prenatal vitamin prior to pregnancy as a good everyday vitamin for women my age. I had zero concerns with it and took it for several months. I didn’t taste or smell them in any major capacity, felt totally fine after taking them (no tummy issues), and felt great the next day. 5 star review! HOWEVER, at about 6-7 weeks pregnant, I started struggling. My nose can smell things from a mile away and for some reason, the smell I sense from these little vitamins sends me into a spiral. I struggle to get past the smell and subsequent taste. I take them at night (as I always have, even pre-pregnancy) and I have to go to sleep immediately afterwards because my tummy will become upset quickly. I’ve had some issues with getting sick if I don’t sleep soon after taking. I really have to hype myself up to take these at night. With that being said, my review during pregnancy would be a 2 or 3 star. I think the ingredients are great and help, but boy does the smell make me want to run the opposite direction. Overall, I’ll stick with a 4 star review because I think my body changing has also changed how I perceive and react to things. Even vitamins.

The product is fine but don't bother ordering from iherb. They will cancel your order and only inform you of this 4-5 days later. It's better to order from another vendor.
