A pretty good deal overall and I'm more than satisfied with the purchase.SPEAKERS:Quite excellent and produce detailed highs/mids. Bass is definitely there and fairly punchy, yet lacking a bit of depth due to the obvious absence of a sub. Which is entirely to be expected. Volume is good for a bedroom or slightly bigger area, but if you like loud and have a particularly cavernous place to fill then these might not work out. But they're monitors, ie. not really intended to blow out your windows anyway. That said, they're more than loud enough for me sitting at a computer desk.I've got them routed through a Monolith Liquid Spark as a pre-amp. Distortion happens, for me, about two clicks from maximum. It's a notched volume nob, so it's not a smooth turn, if that's an issue for ya.They also double as headphone rests, due to the size and shape. A neat and useful byproduct of the design, to be sure.HEADPHONES:Okayish, but I'm spoiled by Sennheiser and Beyerdynamic. They produce decent flat sound and are incredibly easy to drive. You can get them separately for about 18-20 bucks, so, for that price? They're more than ok.Pads aren't all that comfy, so if you have some replacement Brainwavz or something sitting around, throw those on. I'd probably suggest getting some of the large size circular hm5 pads just to have them for any future applications. Not xl. Those are too big for these.Build quality is plastic. Very plastic. Don't throw 'em around...is what I would say if they weren't 18 bucks. Still, it's generally good to treat your audio equipment kindly.CABLES:The cables? They're cables. You plug them into things.Or not. Honestly, that's up to you. Use them as rope if you want. No issues to report and they work just fine for their intended purpose though.

Excellent quality speakers, coming from a non-audiophile. The headphones that came with are not impressive, but they came for free in a bundle so I'm not too disappointed. Recommended.

Good build quality. Clear sound. Did not like lack of bass and treble contols so I deducted a star. Mediocre headphones.

I liked that the speakers were very clear and crisp sound. I use these two speakers for my computer.
