I absolutely love coffee and anything coffee flavored, including ice cream and candy. This package of Bali’s Best Coffee Candy did not disappoint me. There are 42 individually wrapped candies, and each have a real coffee taste. As soon as I unwrapped the first one, it smelled like a fresh pot of coffee was brewing. I like that they are individually wrapped so I can grab a handful and stuff them in my jeans pocket, or in a lunch bag, or carry-on suitcase. Like a lot of seniors, I love hard candies, and these are exceptional. I give them 5 stars for flavor, packaging, and reasonable price.

I got this for a coffee gift basket and it was delightful

Somewhere, there's a conference table with package designers sitting around it, sketch pads in from of them along with a lot of pencils and erasers. They were all sucking away on the candy and all agree its pretty darn good. That's how they talk in that there neck of the woods (Not really. The candy is made in Indonesia) After giving the candy a well-deserved passing grade, they started on designing the packaging. And that's when the fun started ... Above all else, their goal was to make it impossible to get past the individual wrapping and among thone they tried, all but one wasn't has hard as they wanted. That one made the entire group let go with a Hip Hip Hooray. They were very careful not to let on but they couldn't help but laugh and one was heard to mutter, "Just let 'em try to get into this" and then, accompanying giggles. But, it still had to go through very the company's thorough testing. They tried various tools and nothing worked. From sewing scissors to nail clippers, nothing got through the inner packaging. One tester even brought the electric knife from home. That made a mess out of a rather large section of the break room's table but of course, it was worthless for what they had in mind. Even after snipping an opening cut, the package simply would not tear. And making several cuts didn't help. One woman tried pliers on one edge of the cut and another on the opposite side but alas and alack, nothing worked. Nothing. They had hit upon the exact candy wrapping they wanted. On top of being a real pain in the butt to get to the candy, they discovered the candy was also an excellent aid to losing weight. It turns out that the struggle to get to the candy actually burns more calories than you take in when eating the candy. Happy with a job well done, they all punched out and went to the rather seedy bar across the street to celebrate to shoot some pool and discuss their strategy for getting the boss to spring for raises for them all. .
