I like these earmuffs. There are probably some out there that provide a little more ear protection or that are a little more comfortable, but these are a bargain. They provide adequate ear protection in my shop, and are reasonably comfortable, and a big plus for me is that I can turn the headband so that it is behind my neck instead of over my head. The earmuffs swivel. I have 6 of these. I keep them at locations throughout the shop so a set is handy no matter which noisy tool I am using. My grandson likes them so much he wears them all the time even when he is doing something not particularly noisy (see photo). I got him his own pair and he has a place to hang them in the shop when he is not using them.

Have used this product for 20 years minimum, have at least 15 pair, most located on gas or diesel powered equipment, chainsaws, weed eaters, leaf blowers, log splitter, 3 tractors, and close to all wood working tools (table saw, plainer, routers, shaper, band saw, lathes and drill press. Our children have grown up using them and ask for additional ones for Christmas, glad they are still in production.

Not the same as when I bought them 30 years ago. I never had one of the ear cops fall off my old pair of ear muffs. With this pair, I am constantly find an ear cup on the ground!

The earmuffs are only 20 db attenuation, but that is enough for pistol ammunition. The band can be worn over, under or behind one's head. This would be effective with chainsaws as well.

I have been buying these (in bulk) for many years for my autistic son to wear to help lower noise for him. Unfortunately, the quality has definitely gone down on these. The plastic outside ear covering comes off after just a few weeks of wear exposing the foam underneath. Obviously, the manufacturer has changed something. Disappointed and won't purchase anymore.

The top band is adjustable but then slides down and won't stay adjusted. Except for the largest expanded size which it only clicks in place. The band swivels too easily from the muffs. The outside of the muffs are plastic, which means that if you tap it or hit it with your fingers, it makes a booming echo sound that is loud in your ears. Defeating the purpose to protect from loud sounds. This reduces sounds a little. I did try to put extra cotton squares inside the muffs. I do like the style of the muffs on the outside ear part only. And the size is not big sticking out the sides. I'm not sure if I will keep these. I will have to put black electrical tape to have a set opening on the band at the top and hopefully it won't slide down. And I may have to tie a black cord ribbon where the swivel part is so it doesn't swivel so freely but still can be adjusted. I don't think this is worth what I paid.

I purchased it for sleeping. Does block out a lot of background noise. However due to the way this is designed, it is very tight and clamps down on your head.

I find that it clamps on to my head tight and you can't use it for sleeping as I tried. Also, the foam ear piece is easily peeled off (see picture). Would recommend to buy a different product. Also it's only NRR 20 dB not much reduction for me.
