Icebreaker Merino Women's Siren Merino Wool Cami

This was purchased as Christmas gift, the review is for Icebreaker not for Amazon or delivery (both of which were great): Icebreaker seems to really have dropped quality in the last yeast. We have been really super loyal customers to Icebreaker, loving their merino base layers in 2013, 2014, 2015 but then we noticed a drop in quality. This will probably be the last time we chance spending a rather significant sum of money on Icebreaker garments that now hold none of the promise that they used to. We still wear icebreaker items from 2013 & 2014, those are still in amazing shape. These newer items however feel different (the merino is rougher, less soft, the seams are not really made with the same attention to detail) the fabric on this particular item was VERY sheer. Unwearably sheer, the kind of sheer that you imagine a thin white t-shirt would be in a wet t-shirt situation.. A dry undergarment should not be THAT sheer.

SYNTHETIC CREEP. Icebreaker, we trusted you from before when everything was 100% WOOL but now you've allowed these synthetics to make us SICK....I gave away so many shirts to the thrift store when I found out what was making me bilious, dizzy and fatigued

I live in this cami when traveling as a great base layer. It has length to it, so able to tuck it in and not worry about riding or rolling up. I also use it to sleep in when traveling. it gives you the perfect blend of comforting cool and warmth. Not itchy at all. It is on the sheer side, and is meant as a buttery soft layer. It washes well and is very durable. I've had one for a few years now and am treating myself to an additional one, even though my older one has held up perfectly!

I start wearing these cami's when the weather starts to get nasty and basically were them all winter under different tops.

Fits great, looks great. Didn’t shrink after washing & drying it. An important staple in my wardrobe. Reason for 4 stars: a good 3” too long in the torso.

This top is amazing. I’ve purchased 4 so far. It’s amazing what a difference in warmth this thin layer makes. It seems to function as more temperature regulating which is perfect.

I got what I ordered, price was a little high but served it's purpose. Probably wouldn't order again because I found other items that might have worked better.

Worth the money! I'm always freezing cold and these have helped so much. Have one in white and one in black.

Good fit, soft and good length.

It's a good product, but the claim that it is "silky" is a blatant lie. It is slightly coarse - minimally coarse - but in no way silky and I don't understand the need for this lie, as it is still a very good product.It is nice and warm but definitely overpriced. Maybe because there are not many competitors but in either case it shouldn't cost as much for what it is.

Ich habe dieses Hemd in drei Farben und liebe es sehr. Es ist schön dünn, wärmt aber trotzdem an Wintertagen. Zum Einstecken ist es lang genug, aber trotzdem nicht so lang, dass man nicht weiß, wohin mit all dem Stoff. Ich wasche es schon immer recht schnell (wenn auch nicht sofort nach einmal Tragen), angeblich könnte man es aber echt lange tragen, ohne dass sich Geruch bildet. Die Wäsche ist übrigens ganz normal (ohne Woll-/Feinwaschprogramm) möglich, das Hemd trocknet danach sehr schnell.Ich habe sonst meist Größe 38/M, Größe S reicht mir aber locker (gehen würde auch noch eine Größe kleiner, da habe ich es aber lieber etwas lockerer). Die Icebreaker-Hemden mit den breiten Ärmeln fallen enger aus, da ziehe ich meine beiden in Größe S nicht so gern an, weil ich sie zu eng finde.

Ich habe mich im Endeffekt dafür entschieden, die schwarze Version zu behalten und diese hier zurückzusenden, da der Stoff doch wirklich sehr transparent ist. Das hat mir einfach nicht so gut gefallen.Für Menschen, deren Haut sehr empfindlich bei Merinowolle ist: Wenn man das Hemdchen den ganzen Tag trägt, juckt es nach einigen Stunden doch ein kleines bisschen. Wahrscheinlich bin ich da auch wirklich empfindlich.

Trage Icebreaker schon mehrere Jahre. Weiche Qualität, wärmend im Winter, keine verschwitzte Unterwäsche im Sommer.
