I ordered this for my boss who LOVES hippos. Coincidentally a friend bought her the exact same one the day before mine arrived. It was super cute and well made. The box mine arrived in was competely wrapped in packing tape, almost like a practical joke. I noticed the box was cut open differently than how it was designed to open, which is why it was taped so much. When I opened mine, I noticed there were defects in the paint. The nose had a little paint smudges that won't wipe off and there defects the size of a pencil tip that look like something got in the paint when the pot was being made. Not huge flaws, but it really made a difference compared to the first planter she received which was otherwise identical. I am actually wondering if the person that left a bad review on this returned her hippo and I got it. All I know, is this planter has a lot of potential. Hopefully they don't send the one I received out to anyone else. but other than that this little hippo is adorable. If she didn't already have one, I would just exchange it because I do think this had potential. I just got the short stick.

I bought 26 of these for my mother’s celebration of life....she was a dog trainer. they were a big hit and, although very small, they worked well as centerpieces with a few flowers in them. don’t fill up with water though...they are not housebroken puppos!

This thing is so stinking adorable. My daughter is obsessed with narwhals so I bought this for her as a gift. She's 6 and decently careful with her things so this should hold up fine in her bedroom. It would probably chip or break easily if dropped, but it's a planter, so that's kind of expected. It Isn't going to fall apart or anything though; it's definitely worth the price.

All I can say is, my wife absolutely love it. She took it to her office and caught a lot of attention from her colleagues.

So cute! Easy to transplant a little succulent. This was a gift for a coworker for her new baby room. It is well made and looks great on the dresser.

it came with a freaking fingerprint mark on the front, it was the smaller than I thought, and also there is a freaking HAIR glued inside of it how disgusting is that
