LC003 Flat Roof Porch Canopy-1200 to 1600mm

Happy with this product, easy to install ,needed it for keeping the splashing rain off the bottom of my old front door ,used felt roof tile shingles from w**kes only needs one pack @£25.00 ,<<< (must read instructions properly and make sure you line up the gaps properly.).then boxed in the sides ..up to you if you want to box in the whole thing but I didn't as it looks good enough and gives a feeling of space with out it p. Really happy with how it turned out ..

used to protect front door small doorless porch from elements . needed a bit of fettling but up and working really well. looks classsy too . very well made.

Item came quickly. Good quality wood all pre cut. Only issues were two of the dowel holes didn't line up properly. A bit of drilling soon sorted that. Also I needed it to be about 25 CMS longer than this kit to fit over the door. So just bought 2 longer pieces of wood and replaced them. Worked a treat. I treated all wood with a waterproof stain before assembly and fitting. Fitting together and fixing to wall was straightforward. Used external ply and felt shingles for the roof. Looks good and protects the doorway well. Yeah pleased with it.

It's prob a reasonably competent DIYer produced product where you can redrill and match joints and finish. OK so to get where it is on delivery needed time and materials but the drilled holes are larger than the dowels and may require me to buy larger and redrill to ensure a proper fit otherwise filler reqd. Rough cut mortice cuts and obvious errors in drilling that have been filled and redrilled. I am sure I can make it look good but some of the previous comments I based my purchase on are a little doubtful.I have opened second box to find a key tenon damaged with lack of structural integrity that will need a bracket to ensure it is safe.Had I opened earlier it would have gone back. Same issue with dowel size and having to redrill all for match at 18mm replacement that is secure fit.

Used above a first floor apartment door. Had to cut it down a bit to get the size I wanted and then gloss painted white before putting up. Finished with a sheet of clear carbon fibre so it doesn’t throw a shadow over the door. Super pleased with the result
