I purchased this alarm clock because my eight-year-old had it at the top of her Christmas wish list. When I received it I had to agree with other reviews with the following points: it does not seem to be made to withstand handling by a small child, the charging ports is difficult to use and feels like it would eventually break, set up was a bit challenging for myself. This was disappointing because I had hoped it would be easy enough for her to figure out how to set the alarm on her own but it is not. It is cute and does work in terms of waking up everyone in the house each morning, but stopping the chirping seems to be more trouble than just letting it go on until it stops by itself. I would say there is room for improvement but the kid is happy.

My daughter was so excited to receive a “cute” alarm clock, but this device is so disappointing. First of all, it’s very lightweight and cheap. The top is a silicone shell filled with nothing but air. The only solid part is the base, which is made of very thin plastic. The connection on the back is hard to plug the cable into, and it’s so thin I’m worried the entire connection will break off it’s put in the wrong way.But the biggest issue with this clock is the function. It cycles between time and date—there is NO way, as far as I could tell, to get it to just stay on time. This makes it useless for kid who is trying to learn time because it keeps flashing the date numbers every few seconds. Furthermore, pressing the top to turn off the alarm or light does NOTHING. Like I said, the top is just a silicone shell with empty air inside. There’s no button at all. You have to turn the whole thing over to turn off the alarm or light.Also, sometimes the display just randomly turns off, even when it’s plugged it.This is totally useless and I’m going to be returning it.

The sound didn’t work, the wings didn’t “flap”, the tail is barely glued on, and the set up is kind of a headache. The idea is cute and maybe for a kid that just needs a night light. I bought this to get my daughter on a solid morning routine for school, and the alarms didn’t make a sound. Returning it! Not for us.

My 5 year old was so in love so I really wanted it to work. Unfortunately the time function was defective. I set the time and it wouldn't change for 10 minutes. I kept trying. I left it overnight and the time hadn't progressed at all. Poor kiddo is heartbroken it won't work properly. Will be returning.

I bought this alarm because of its design. It is nice lil chicken. After I received it, I found out it not only have time, it also can measure temperature. I gave to my cousin who is 4 years old as a gift. She loves it. The only thing is that it is hard to awake the clock once it goes to sleep. If you squeeze harder, I will become awake.

Although this clock is very cute, we had to return - the temperate display was completely inaccurate, and you cannot turn off the scrolling date/time as far as we could see. Very confusing for a small child to see "2020" once, then scrolls to "0103", then scrolls to the time.

This is weird. Didn't like it. Not easy for a kid to use. Really Chinese

Time function is not working either. It doesn’t change. Also don’t like the fact that the “off” button is under the chick, I have it plug in all the time so we have to grab the chick and the the chick up to find the tiny off button. Cute but not really convenient.
