I ordered a whole case of Whatchamacallits and now I have zero regrets and probably zero self-control. These candy bars are like the mullets of the confectionery world — crunchy business on the bottom, chewy party on top. I was going to share them with friends… but then I remembered I don’t need that kind of negativity in my life. The case arrived and I blacked out. Woke up surrounded by empty wrappers, sticky fingers, and the faint sound of my treadmill quietly judging me from across the room. These bars are dangerously delicious. Caramel, crisp, chocolate — it’s like a support group for all the best snack elements who said “screw it, let’s form a supergroup.” If you’re on the fence, get off the fence. Fences are uncomfortable. Get the bars. Live your best nougat-filled life. 🙌

I hadn't seen one of these in my local stores in at least 2 decades. I remembered loving them and while I'm no longer an 8 year old in pigtails (I still rock my pigtails though) I bought these for the nostalgia and knew my family would love every bite. I wasn't wrong. As soon as they arrived I put them in the fridge. It's a quirk I have. That night after dinner I pulled them out of my hiding place and my family fought to see who would get the first one. Mom won. She has had at least 2 a week since. She loves them and says they taste just as good as she remembered and very fresh. I will admit I didn't bother to check expiration dates because these babies are going to be long gone before that becomes a concern. You get a lot for the price and they arrived in perfect condition. None of them has been melted leaving a mess when you unwrap them of broken chocolate all over. (Broken not melted because of refrigeration.) I won't hesitate to buy them again.

Pretty good, but not what I remembered as Special Crisp here in Canada.

I really liked the fact that I can have one whenever I like,due to the fact that they are extremely hard to get in my area of Canada.
