Mouse - Maybe / Chipmink - NO
Returned from running errands to find one of the traps on the driveway. The trap had been set and placed in the flower bed. When I approached the trap I startled the chipmunk, which obviously was NOT dead. Now what? Had to catch the chipmunk with a trap on its head and place it in a bucket of water. At least for our chipmunks, this trap is not strong enough. Description lists the word "rat" so a chipmunk seemed like a reasonable expectation. I sincerely doubt it. The rat would have to be a very small rat (like the size of a mouse) to humanely kill it. Definitely not 100% kill.

Mouse take bait and leave!
The mouse take the bait out of the hole and leave. After making the catch a little more trigger happy, I finally caught just one. After these things snap shut a few times they will not set open. Definitely not for mice.

Only works for so long
Exactly a month later more than half of the traps I ordered have stop working. The traps will not stay set and spring close on their own. It is now past my return window so I am stuck with traps that will not stay open and work.

Bought these for my store, caught several mice in the first few days. Hust watch your fingers when setting them

Big trap
Have killed 3 mice. This product is more for rats than mice. Kind a cuts the mouse in half, so some clean up is required for floor. Does the job but is better for bigger critters than mice!!

Works
Bought various types of rat traps. This caught more than others, don't know why but it works. The sticky pad also works but seems cruel.
