First off Survival Frog as a company has some of the best customer service I've seen. My shipment was lost, probably due to my living in Houston and the scheduled delivery date during Imelda. Survival frog reached out and immediately sent me a replacement.This lighter is great as well. It locks us solid and works fine even after jumping into the pool with it in my pocket. It is light weight and uses plastic in construction, however don't let that fool you into thinking it's not a quality product. I'll probably buy some more for gifts later in the year.

I like that the lighter is rechargeable. I charged it as soon as I got it and it worked as advertised. I think it will be a good addition to our supply.

Ordered, arrived quickly, as described. Seems well made . Works well. Like the idea no fuel to refill. Just a charge . Will try to update REVEIW later on how well and how long it holds it charge . To date, I have charged the lighter once and used it to start a fire six (6) times. The outer shell of the lighter has a nice semi-rubber type texture. The closure latch is a nice added feature and the lid closes nicely and securely. The igniter push-button is a bit small but not so small as to be unusable. Fires definitely start quickly with this lighter and I don't have to worry about lighter fluid evaporating, rendering a Zippo lighter useless.The big test will be longevity and battery life. I will be curious to see how the battery holds up over repeated charging and how the Tesla coil performance is over time. Overall, at least initially, this is an exceptional lighter for the money.

I got a bunch of these for all the guys in my family, and they all loved them.They all worked great, and I got one more for myself.

My hubby is disabled and partially blind so to find these as a Christmas present we’re the best, easy for him to use and won’t worry about him burning himself with a flame, will buy from this seller again

On a full charge I am maybe getting 15-20 lights of a cigarette per day, then it's out of juice. On a positive and balanced note, I was able to light a cigarette facing into a 25 mile per hour wind with no hand shielding. Others have noted and it is true, you have to jam something right against where it sparks up. Sometimes it is not successful because you are blocking the little electric volts from discharging. If it was designed more like a car lighter with a little bit of a shielded well with some depth it would be a much better product. Therefore I give it 3 stars.

I haven't run the battery all the way down yet, but it charged quickly and works just as described. It's small, light, and easy to carry. very cool product. I have lit several things with it, including some wet paper, ect. to see if it really worked, it did.

Initially had a problem with it stopping working but seller was excellent, refunded postage and replaced the lighter very very quickly. Now very satisfied with it.Would not hesitate to deal with them again .

I was impressed with how smart this lighter is, its surprisingly small but fits comfortably in hands. Tested it out as soon as I got it and it lit a piece of paper so easily I cant wait to try it camping. The charging port is on the side of the lighter and was stored underneath in the package with the strap. The light was was surprisingly bright and quite a nice addition to being a lightweight well crafted lighter. I think it would be a great gift for anyone who likes gadgets and even as an EDC. If I lose it in the near future I will be definitely replacing it.

Well built. Doesn't take too long to charge up when completely down. The flashlight is a very useful feature - Very clean and bright light, I was surprisingly pleased. USB cable is a little short though. The battery charge lasts for an acceptable amount of time (of course, it depends on how you use the lighter...), but honestly, I thought it would be just a little bit better. Overall, totally worth it.

After years of messing with flints, gas and lighter fuel, this is a joy to own. The light is powerful and way more than an added gimmick. You would be able to leave the torch behind if you just needed to light your way to bed and find stuff when out camping.

I just received this survival lighter so I haven’t really used it yet, but it feels rugged, is easy to use and works well. Arrived with a charge and I tried the lighter and light. I like the fact that I don’t need to refuel this regularly like my Zippos. And the lighter function looks to be burly and wind resistant.
