Rubber Cal Elephant Bark Floor Mat

We are using a bunch of these rolls as the floor for our home gym (on top of cement in a basement). It is an amazing material and the off-gassing was minimal (and way less than expected). We has a log cart we purchased once with rubber tires that were 10000x worse than these and took months to off-gas fully. Compared to that, these mats were awesome! They are comfortable on the feet. We do weights, yoga, and jump role, and the floor is really awesome. Foot prints clean up easily with a damp cloth/mop.

I love this flooring! It was incredibly easy to install (we just used carpet tape on the bottom.) I ordered two 4’x10’ rolls to cover our lifting area. They are made from recycled tires and are super durable! There was almost no rubbery smell upon opening the box like I expected, which was nice. One thing I will note, they are not cut exactly the same. I know our house is old and not every room is squared, so this may have been part of our issue. There is a small gap between the baseboard and the mat, but my curtains make it barely noticeable. No biggie, I was able to get the outside edges, the obviously visible ones, squared off without any cutting and that was what was the most important! They also lined up perfectly side-by-side without any bowing in the middle. Overall, I am 100% satisfied with this purchase and I am sure our gym floors will outlast us!

I am using this in my 2018 Dodge ProMaster City work van. I bought the Ranger Design floor , shelves and American Van parts bin. The Ranger floor looked great but it lacked the grip I need to keep smaller boxes and my tool case from sliding around the van. I even put my tool case on a rubber mat, but the floor was just too slick to keep my 50lb case (on a rubber floor mat) from sliding even with smoothest of driving! I ordered a piece 7.5. ft long by 4ft wide, 5 ft wide would have been perfect , but that's not an option so I had a seam that is hidden by my tool case so no big deal.Anyway it took about an hour and a half to measure and cut the mat to fit into my van in and around the base of the racks, wheel wells, etc. I was able to do it in 1 large piece which covered 98% of the floor and 1 small 7" x 21" which ended up where my tool case will sit while traveling. It looks great, seems to be very durable and is easy on my knees when I am inside the van retrieving parts, tools etc. (That's a bonus I hadn't even thought of, my knees aren't getting any younger) . It also reduced the road noise quite a bit too, another nice little bonus!Time will tell if it can hold up to the future abuse I will put it through, but based on how many razor blades I went thru cutting it all out, my guess is it will hold up just fine. Since this stuff is designed for use in gym's it looks like it will handle my needs without issue.UPDATE: after a month+ of normal use/abuse the Floor mat is holding up perfectly, and keeps EVERYTHING from sliding around. Exactly what I needed it to do. I could not be happier!!!

I purchased two of these rubber mats for my home-gym floor that is concrete and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase!These Rubber Cal mats are thick, sturdy, and will last me ‘forever’ — and they are cushiony enough to give me a layer over that concrete, but firm enough for my workouts, particularly where I have my heavy bag and needed something firm but with some give, and that I can shuffle my feet on but not slide around on—they are not slippery at all and that was a huge plus for me, that they are not slick.They roll out like a rug—easy to install! I just unrolled each one over the area I wanted to cover: done. They come in different sizes, again, like a rug. I ordered 4x6 and 4x7. I choose just plain black.I’d definitely order these again—I have another area I want to cover.When you open the box, there will be a slight rubbery scent but it wasn’t unpleasant, and once I placed them in my workout room and went back later, I didn’t notice it at all.I also love that they are American made, a big plus.Very pleased! Recommend!

Excellent. I wanted to have a waterproof mat under the fridge since it has leaked twice in the past 10 years and we only noticed it when the water was visible in the basement. I went to the custom molded mat websites and could not find anything (they were all specialized for car mats). This mat is versatile enough to bent as the edges. The corners were a little thicker since I did not want to cut it. The mad was easily screwed into the side cabinets and wall studs about 4 inches above the ground. The material was very easy to sit with scissors and moderately easy to cut with a knife and straightedge. This will last a lifetime

I waited a few months before writing this review to test the durability of this flooring. Being that this is 3/16" I wasn't sure how well it would hold up in my garage home gym. With heavy weight equipment and constantly moving around weights, benches and other equipment on the floor, it has held up extremely well. There are no signs of any type of wear or marks of any kind, even with consistent placing of weights on the floor. It was very easy to install as well. Once the flooring was unrolled, it stayed quite flat and butted against the next sheet with virtually no seam showing. (no adhesive necessary.) It was also easy to trim since it wasn't that thick. The flecks of color are throughout the flooring, so if it ever does get dull, you could just turn the sheets over. There was only a mild rubber smell for the first few days, but then it dissipates. The flooring also provides a non slip surface with minimal cushioning. I would highly recommend this rubber flooring!

We have 2 home offices with hardwood flooring. We have tried all kinds of mats, mainly for noise reductions, limit chair rolling and to not damage the flooring. With pets sometimes carpet mats get damaged. Carpet mats get worn very quickly by the chair wheels. We decided on the rubber mat for durability, resistant to pet stains, noise reduction and floor protection. These mats are perfect. absolutely no complaints.They would also be ideal under exercise equipment.

This product is good and heavy with very little odor. I didn't check the overall dimensions or squareness for accuracy before cutting it. For my use that wasn't critical.

I cut the 20ft section in half to make an 8x10 gym area. Small seam between the two pieces, but the materiel is square enough that I didn't bother to tape the pieces together.I'm on a tile floor over concrete. This gives a nice grippy surface to work out an, and protects the tiles.

Exactly as described - good thickness, long lasting, great for underneath my stationary bike.

It’s not durable. It isn’t strong enough for dogs. My dog ripped it in about a month.
