Bahco 8224 Adjustable Joint Pliers, 10-Inch

I've been a mechanic and carpenter since the 1980s. These pliers are excellent. Far superior to the Channellocks I grew up with. These adjust easily and lock on well. I've bought two more pair, one for the car and one for my plumbing box. I also have Knipex Cobras which are great, but I actually find these easier to adjust and a much better deal. Highly recommend these.

Very nice. Jaws open up wide and the serrations on the jaws haven’t gotten disfigured and worn out. Had a hard time finding a pair of pliers that didn’t wear out fast. I carry them at least 48 hours a week. Have held up very good with how hard I abuse them. Very good quality. Would recommend

I have used these Channel locks for 15 years. I first purchased them at a supply house and never seen them there again. One day I did a search on Amazon and found them now I have two pairs. I disconnect a lot of drains and hard to reach with little room piping. The low profile and the spring action makes this easier. This is my favorite tool in my bag and would go in panic if I ever lost them thats why I bought a second pair.

Wonderful tool. If you like knipex you will like these original knipex. The swiss pipe wrenches are also wonderful.

I'm used to using Cobra type pump pliers, I wouldn't go so far as to say these are better but once you get accustomed to the feel they are just as good. They are very durable and appear to be very well made. My only gripe is due to the design your fingers can get pinched between the handles if you aren't careful.

So much easier to use than channel locks. Its a one hand operation which is great! It has a spring detent feature which is great in which it recoils or flares out to the open position when ever you let go. Much lighter weight than channel locks. Easier to use than knipex's push button design and finger flip design. Bacho makes these two kinds also but this one is the best in terms of usage. PS Only people who dont know how to use tools properly get their hands pinched. You control the tool, dont let it control you.

I like the single hand one button adjustment and the jaws are great for pipes, or bolt heads, or whatever else you need them for.
