Works as it should, it holds the stones solidly and at a good height. Great price, and should last for years. No rust at all, I rinse it off and dry it before putting it away, I put 3-1 olives on the threads when o received it. Totally worth the price.

This is fantastic, holds the stones securely and stays on the counter. If i needed two I'd buy another.

I've used varieties of whet stones and have at least a half dozen. Something that I've always struggled with was securing the stone on a counter or table top. I've always used a wet washcloth. Yeah, it kind of worked, but I never really knew about these kinds of stone holders until watching some sharpening videos. This unit is very quickly adustable to practically any size that most of us will ever run into. It firmly grasps the stone. I have one stone that I was concerned might not work, since it's a relatively thin double sided diamond stone--about 1/4" thick. The holder still holds this stone properly without getting in the way of the blade during sharpening. If you use stones and haven't found a good holding system, this unit won't break the bank and you'll wonder how you ever went without it. Good construction, quality material, and non-slip.

Works really good but just wish the center could be a bit higher.. always hitting my knuckles on the screw

Makes sharpening multiple knives so much easier. Just set the sink to a slow drip and you have a constant flow of moisture for your wetstone and it won’t ever slide around and risk your hands getting cut

Wanted to try hand sharpening, and already had a stone. Was originally just going to get a plastic or bamboo base, but read a lot of reviews recommending an over the sink one to have ease of access to water and cleanup, so tried this out. It has a lot of ton of adjustability, is long enough to bridge my sink, but sturdy enough that I don't feel a lot of flex when sharpening. Holds my stone securely, and didn't budge, even when sharpening a bigger blade like a chinese cleaver. I appreciate the locking bolts having a plastic knob rather than the metal wing nuts on other brands. Since it seems to just hold in place via tension/friction how it holds up long term is an open question, but as this would only get occasional use I'm hoping it'll hold up.
