Good stuff. Tastes very salty. Went with 2 teaspoons per 16 ounce serving, per the recommendation of the female reviewer. I added 2 tablespoons to a 48 ounce jar and put it in the fridge. I got sick with the flu while awaiting the arrival of the horse product, so i was especially glad to finally get it. People can be hospitalized for low sodium, and i used to think that sodium was salt, but that’s not actually the case. I’ve only had this once at the time of writing, but I’m glad i have it and it seems to do its job. It also has a money back guarantee, tho that might apply only to horses. Edit: i had a little more and my skin is in fact tingly. In a good way. And like i said, i was sick for a few days before getting this, and i was drinking so much water and felt like water wasn’t quenching my thirst. It stopped appealing to me. This stuff feels like it’s satisfied me in a way i really sought. Also i just looked up prices for liquid iv. That stuff is like a buck fifty per serving. This $25 bucket will probably last me years.

Good stuff
I've been using it for 8months now as part of my pre-workout. I use 5g tiny scoop in 12oz of water plus pre-workout+BCAAs. Good stuff. If I am doing a marathon session (longer that 2hrs), or long cardio work, I take another 5g + 5g of BCAA. Winning combo.

NOT FOR HUMAN USE
Pharmacist and cyclist here. I bought this (as some previous reviewers mentioned) thinking maybe I could use it as a cheap replacement for human electrolyte powders while biking. Welp, turns out the label is correct, it's not good for humans. After buying the powder and trying a teaspoon of it in 16oz of water, the taste was quite unpalatable. I then read the label and calculated the electrolyte/micronutrient concentrations compared to human electrolyte powders. This stuff has waaaayyy too much calcium and sodium for humans (nearly 6x the calcium and 3x the sodium gram for gram than BodyArmor Flash IV powder). It also has a ton of Manganese. Do not buy this intending for it to be a cheap replacement for your electrolyte drink mix. The hospital bills from treating your seizure and hypernatremic cerebral edema are way more expensive than electrolyte powder made for humans. This container will simply live on my windowsill as a fun change jar now.

Effective!
Works awesome…on me! Haha! I drink it in my water everyday. So far I haven’t grown hooves or started eating grass.

Apple A Day electrolyte
This product has a pleasant smell and powder is easy to scoop. Many people at our stable use it for their horses. It was too strong for my Irish Sport Horse. It made him constantly thirsty. It is packaged well and a good price.

No Sugar Added
So far this is the purest electrolyte I have found. It contains no sugar, which my 30 year old horse doesn't need. Whether I add it to his grain or soaked cubes, he seems to like the artificial apple flavor. I give AppleADay to him when the weather changes or if it's extremely hot or cold. In his younger days I always provided electrolytes the day before I was trailering him. He has never colicked, and I partially attribute it to giving him an electrolyte when I think he might need it.
