I have thick hair that, despite shampoo or conditioner used, tends to wind up with at least a few small knots. Over the past five years I have gone through maybe half a dozen plastic pintail combs of various brands. Over time, teeth broke off of most of them, and, eventually, the tail broke off of ALL of them. I have had this comb for months now without even a sign of a single broken tooth, and that metal tail isn't going anywhere. It works great, and I'm hoping it will continue to hold up for many years to come.

I purchased these white combs because I have black hair and it is really difficult to distinguish the difference between my hair and a black comb, especially when I trying to cut it. The white combs have been wonderful to work with. They a good quality and are sturdy. If I ever need more, I would certainly purchase them again!

I bought these combs after using one in a barber shop. I cut the handle off and made it pocket comb size. I like the narrow teeth and the fact it's polycarbonate instead of plastic.

I didn’t know what to expect as far as quality, it seems a lot of products are so cheaply made. Well, to my surprise these combs are quite durable. I was originally going to use them when coloring my hair, but found them useful for styling as well. Very pleased.

The rat's tail is great. The comb itself not so much. First time I used it I lose a few teeth from a comb. Comb not sturdy at all. I wouldn't get this product again but will keep the tail itself because it's very pointy.
