Kitchen + Home Silicone Suction Lids and Food Covers - Set of 5 - Fits various sizes of cups, bowls, pans, or containers!

I redecorated my kitchen in blue and yellow this year and I'd had some really large covers for my pans in silicone but they were not blue and they were too big for my smaller pans that I use more frequently. I have lids for my pans, but they are bulky at times. These just lay right on top of the pan, are heat resistant, and so easy to clean up after. Plus, unlike the lids that came with my pans, I don't have to worry about dropping them and breaking them. These were a good buy.

I must admit I was a sceptic, however a long lost great uncle twice removed left me a $23 legacy and I decided to splurge. These actually work. They do not seal to the point where you can lift the container by the protruding know on the silicone cover. (Ask my wife, I tried to warn her). But they do seal. The do work and I would buy another set. Unfortunately, the odds of having another affluent relative passing on land leaving me a small fortune is I fear, remote. Don't ask what I spent the remainder of the original $23 on.

This set of silicone lids has worked wonderfully for over 5 years. They are microwave safe and are easily washed by hand or dishwasher. The lids have held up over time and are not ripped, faded or warped. In addition to microwave splatter-prevention lids, we also use them to cover bowls and containers for short term fridge storage. Having five different sized lids is super convenient. The lids are functional and utilitarian (round blue silicone circles) and that's what I like about them -- they fit well and serve a designed purpose (unlike competitors that are more novelty and shaped like animals/vegetables). Overall, a great set of lids!

These are great!! The set has 5 lids that snap together for storage. They cover my coffee mug, cover serving dishes with hot food, a quick cover for leftovers in the fridge, and keep pasta and rice from drying out in the pan. These are not only easy to use, easy to store (they snap together), they are strong!! I placed a silicone lid over the Instant Pot liner with food in it and I was surprised how strong the suction was! I was able to lift the pot (heavy stainless steel) straight up by the lid handle. I held it in the air (with my other hand underneath waiting to catch) for a good solid 10 seconds before I set it back down. Impressed!! Good for microwave, oven -450, dishwasher, freezer, fridge, but I bought these to use mostly in my Instant Pot pressure cooker. Great product and already praising it on the Instant Pot Community group.

These Silicone lids are just OK. They are rather thin and work best with a substantial overhang over the bowl perimeter. Otherwise they push into the bowl very easily when competing for space in the fridge. I was disappointed in the fact that the largest lid does not fit most large bowls. It looks like it's about 10 inches which sits down inside or just barely on the rim of most large bowls I have. If the large lid were 12 inches, then 4 stars. If they were a little thicker, then 5 stars.

****UPDATE**** Feb 26, 2017 - I have had these lids for just over two years and could not be happier with them. You need to buy them. I have found dozens of uses for them in the kitchen. They work as advertised making a good seal over cookware and dishware. Find the size that slightly overlaps and you're good. With a slight suction, the lid will not move. I also find that they're good for flipping delicate foods (I like my eggs over easy) by simply sliding the food onto the lid and then placing the inverted pan on top and rolling over gently. Works every time. They do tend to film up in the dishwasher, so I just hand wash. Worth it. They can take abuse well also, as they're often thrown haphazardly into the cabinet. You can even use them as a stopper for the kitchen sink. Just what you're looking for, I promise. Surprisingly good seal. Nice to be able to store leftovers in the same dish they were cooked in. I'll be buying more for Christmas gifts.

These silicone lids fit various container sizes and are so much easier to use than plastic wrap. I like the fact that are reusable and are microwave and oven safe.

These covers are simply amazing. They instantly stick to everything I've tried, to the point I can carefully pick the items up from the handle of the suction lid. I bring them out when i have people over and display them. Everyone is amazed with there instant suction ability. Right from the packaging I was able to simply put them on a bowl from the fridge, coffee cups full, hot or cold, hot items, cold items room temperature items, whatever and they instantly form a suction. You can just put them in the dishwasher, microwave and freezer without a problem. I can't imagine why they don't have these in every store in the country. They are truly worth the price. How can someone give them less then 5 stars is beyond me.
