Easy to use RAID enclosure USB C for backup
Stable USB C RAID box that works well, stable, decent speed backups, fan is a bit noisy, all drives attach without screws and doors can be locked. Dip switches to change RAID options. Thumbs up.

Just stating to use it, don't know of anything yet

Waste of time and money
I bought this hoping it would be a nice and easy introduction to NAS...Seemed simple enough: Set up the NAS, slap a few drives in, start copying over files and share it with everyone in my network. What a joke. Media Server apps don't start or run correctly, attempting to listen to audio files stored on the NAS leads to several choppy pauses in the tracks, and even opening something as simple as a .pdf or a .doc can lead to substantial lag and pauses ending in a blank half-page before an "I/O Error" window pops in your face. I wanted this to take the sizable audio, video, and book library OFF of my desktop and put it in a more convenient to access centralized storage, but it would have been simpler to just build a second, barebones junk PC and put the drives in there. No special software would be needed, no user credentials asked for when attempting to access a shared folder, no lag spikes. Until they step up their customer service game and/or significantly improve their NAS performance, don't bother.

Connected devices suffer a considerable performance hit
I noticed that both the TR-004 and TR-002 slow my computer down considerably and my computer boots up really slow if they are attached. If These devices are attached to a routers USB ports the router randomly hard crashes as well.

Good So Far
So far so good, but I wish the unit allowed 4 drives in RAID-1, not just 2 drives at a time in RAID-1. Kind disappointed about that. Maybe shame on me for not researching more, but since this company does provide custom controller software...
