Excellent invention, well executed
Well-made and works perfectly! (I *only* use this for refilling pressurized Lindal gas canisters or playing with gas devices on the workbench — taking it camping to use inferior nozzle-type butane bottles makes zero sense to me.)There are a few tricks to using this to refill isopro canisters: you're only interested in liquid so understand where the internal feed tube is and tilt the bottle accordingly; chill the receiving canister to create negative pressure; know (record) your empty-full weights and use a precise scale to avoid overfilling; accept that you won't get all of the butane to transfer (it's that internal feed tube — this is a hack of something designed *not* to feed liquid); remember that you'll have (more or less) 100% butane in your canister, with its vaporization temperature/pressure, instead of isopro. Unless you're ambitious enough to mix your own gas (adding a dash of propane), or never camp in winter, it's worth labeling your refills. That said, refilling with butane is reasonably cheap & safe using this high-quality gizmo (+ a Lindal-Lindal connector), and you can take exactly as much or as little fuel as you need, instead of carrying a heavy full canister to back up one near empty (and then carrying home the empty!). I wouldn't refill those canisters forever, but they're robust, especially for butane, and you'll buy and discard far fewer if you refill them.

Good quality
There’s really nothing to comment on except quality. I have three other adapter models from this brand. G-Works does in fact come at higher cost than most other brands, but the difference is noticeable in the machining of threads and valves. They are worth the extra expense to me. Some of the cheaper brands are okay for a one time or occasional use. Buy this one if quality matters to you and you want one that will last.

Excellent go-bag option
I got this to expand portable cooking capabilities. If you get one of these and a propane-to-Lindal adapter, you're good to go using either camping isopro-type camping fuel, cheaper butane camping canisters, or propane canisters all with the same portable camping stove of your choice. I would recommend digging/building a slot in which to place the taller canisters for stability if you use a small camping stove which attaches vertically, as adding both an adapter and a stove on top of an already tall canister is asking for trouble. Will update after more long-term testing, but so far the device works as advertised. NOTE: To lock the adapter onto the top of the canister, insert the plastic tab into the metal notch cut-out, and then twist the metal portion of the adapter clockwise to cause the plastic section to lock into the metal ring on top of the canister. I don't really read Korean and so I don't know if this is explained in the Hangul written on the packaging, but you could figure this out if you played with it enough anyways; thought I'd save some time for those who read this review.

It's nice. I'd give another star if there was a way to change the orientation of the bottle easier and the bits of plastic were metal. These korean/asian canisters need to be in a certain orientation or they spew liquid and on most stoves that gives you a fireball. I had a little trouble getting pure butane to light on an optimus polaris but learned a trick: Start at a super low flow, light, then turn on all the way. There is no middle for some reason. The gas will just blow by and not light, even with a strong open flame.

At first I couldn't figure out how this adapter attached to the Butane canister but when you figure it out, (hopefully before you ruin it) it works great. The key is to FIRST - attach the black portion of the adapter with the tab to the butane canister by pushing directly down with the tab/knob aligned in the groove of the canister and THEN, twist the upper silver portion clockwise, causing the plastic white grooves on the underside where the two screws are to expand into the inner grooves of the butane canister. You don't have to twist very far or hard for it to stay attached. Once attached, you can attach your stove connection. Although the butane canisters are larger than their smaller Isobutane / propane fuel mix cousins, they will definitely save $$ on fuel and give you the option to use either - versatile and economic.

Must buy
Such an awesome invention. Works great. Will save a ton of money compared to smaller refill cans

Works On Some Butane Cartridges But Not Others
I bought this to have another fuel option for my MSR PocketRocket 2 stove and eventually to maybe refill expensive isobutane canisters with cheaper butane. The stove attaches no problem, but when I tried it on a couple different brands of butane cartridges, one leaked. I’m really not sure if this is an issue with the adapter or the butane cartridge itself. Just an observation of what happened to me.
