Exceptional value. Minor cleaning and debur is all that’s needed.
Great value. Under a loupe, I can see a 2” difference from my Starrett protractor. I need a day to day protractor that is accurate and affordable as they get some abuse in a green sand foundry. The packing oil was a little thick, better safe than sorry. Also, the blades were a little jerky in use. One quick pass with a jeweler’s file on the corners and it is smooth. I would highly recommend it. It performs good enough for machinist as well as tool and die work.

Tool Works Great, One Screw Arrived Stripped
The product functions as desired and the magnifying glass built into the tool is very helpful. We are using in manufacturing and this has made our operator's lives easier. I plan to buy more. However, one of the screws used to lock in the magnifying glass arrived stripped right out of the box. I am looking to get a replacement, but there is also no spare parts call-outs to identify the threading and size of the screw.

Should be sold as refurbished not new
It has scratches on it. Looks like it was refurbished. Does not move as smooth as it should, but it gets the job done. You get what you pay for.

Needs to be packed with more tool oil . Vary stiff

When I opened it, it seemed to have scratches and a dirty dial as if it had been used before. The locking knob did not work. For the price I assumed typical poor finish like burrs and sharp edges which it had but this was way worse than expected. I have returned it.
