A must for PS4 players on a budget.
I bought these out of necessity because I left the dongle for my Pulse Elite headphones at a hotel I stayed at. I could have easily paid $30 to have it replaced, but I honestly didn't want to spend that much right now since the headphones actually still work and aren't broke. That being said I love this headset. I bought these for my PS4 along with an adapter to go from two 3.5mm plugs to one. Simple and effective. Honestly I think this headset is much more comfortable than the Pulse elite that I had and I only paid $21 combined for the headset and adapter. They do feel like they are made with cheap plastic but I expected that for $14. They still feel solid though and I don't think they will have any trouble holding up to the use I will put them through. The cable is braided and durable and the padding at the top of the head is very comfortable along with the ear padding. The cord is quite long so playing them on the PS4 may get annoying but I just left them tied in the bundle and the distance works fine. The on off switch for the microphone works, I know this because I forgot I turned it off one day and was pissed no one could hear me. I like that the microphone can be moved up and into the left earpiece, it fits seem less and looks like there is no microphone. The sound is very good for what I expected out of $14. I do wish it would get a little louder but honestly it's probably better they don't. Overall these headphones are well worth the money and PS4 players don't be afraid, these work perfectly with the adapter.

I have found very cheap items like this for gaming that have worked out wonderfully for ...
I expected more from this headset quite honestly. I have found very cheap items like this for gaming that have worked out wonderfully for me. However, this one let me down a bit. Now, I went from the Turtle Beach X12's to this so that is probably why I feel let down, but for the price I'm not too surprised. All in all, if you have no experience with headsets at all, and you are tight on money, this is a decent choice. If you have had turtle beach headsets or something similar, this is a noticeable downgrade that I personally couldn't get over. If you have a little more money, you will get what you pay for and this applies, so just spend the extra money and get turtle beaches or something similar. Also, for those who dont read the whole product description, this is ONLY for PC, this will NOT work for any console. Pros: Sound quality was good My brother and my friends said they could hear me clearer than when I was on my turtle beaches Nice look Doesn't require a usb, just the 2 jacks Cons: I can't hear myself talk, like you can on the X12s Even though people could hear me clearer, I had a slight echo to them as well (Possibly just a settings issue) Can only wear the headset for an hour or 2 before it starts to hurt my ears

Another Defective Unit
Very sad. These broke in 2 months of pretty ordinary use. They started getting static, then dropping out. If my son jiggled the cord they would work for a while until to cord was moved again. Now they don't work at all. It seems like the issue is a loose connection in the on/off volume control box attached a couple feet down of the cord. Warranty is 30 days, so we are stuck with defective headphones. I'm going to try opening the control box to see if there's an obvious loose wire that I can resolder. The sad part is, they sounded good, the mic was good, they fit my son nicely, and even looked cool. He was very happy the use them, but pretty disappointed that they conked out.

The absolute, without a doubt, amazingly Okay headphones on the market.... Trash mic though.
The headset is very comfortable and the wires are obviously very nice and durable. However, the "omni-directional mic" pics up more of what is going on around you than what you are saying, so this mic is MARVELOUS if you are an avid fan of listening to snowstorms, wind tunnels, and ambient buzzing, but if you want to record your voice, good luck for you WILL need it. When it comes to listening, the headset is okay, but still a bit quiet for my tastes. I had to have it on full volume before it actually got to my liking. But I still cannot stress enough how bad the mic is. It's positioned away from your face, the holes that allow it to receive audio through the plastic are all facing away from you, and you can't hear a single thing you're saying unless you are yelling it out, and even then, the ambient buzzing is FAR LOUDER than your actual voice. If you just want to listen, buy a more affordable headset without a mic for less money. If you need the mic, don't waste your time. I guess for $15 you are getting what you paid for, but to me as a gamer, live-streamer, and a youtuber, the mic straight up is sub par. In case you don't believe me, here are two audio samples of me talking. Great Headset for a budget gamer
Great Headset for a budget gamer. Sound quality is very good for the price point it doesn't fully drown out outside noise which can be a plus if you have kids or need to be somewhat aware of your surroundings. I would say it drowns out about 50-70% of noise which is perfect for me. As far as comfort goes the padding on the ears and top of the set is great. Most headsets I use cause ear pain on my ears after just 30 mins but not this one. The headset and padding surrounds your ear allowing the padding to rest on you head around your ear. The quality of my voice on the mic is much better than the old Logitech headset I had. I use team speak daily and my fellow gamer's appreciate the better coms quality. Great buy I WAS NOT given this product to review I bought it with my own money that being said it is still a good product Good job Sentey! Don't sell out!

Good Headset with a low price, but had an electrical short
I normally do not write reviews but I felt this was worth one. The headset came promptly in two days because I am a Prime member which is great. Also after opening it the headset was in an unopened package signifying that it was unused and brand new. When I plugged it into mu auto input of my computer and listened to sound quality was immediately very happy. The headset is light weight and fits well around the ears and the mic was a good length and well positioned. The only downside that I experienced with the headset was that only after a week of use there seemed to be a short occurring in the wiring which at first cause the right ear speaker to malfunction. To make it try and work I would have to move the wire around, which became very annoying. Then one day the left side went out and now no sound was present. In the end I had to return the headset and get a refund. I wish the headset would not have had a electrical short because it was a really good headset with a very low price.

The headphone themselves look great, and in fact worked like they should have
The headphone themselves look great, and in fact worked like they should have, but one side of the headset did stop working or would randomly go out not even a month after arrival. I even undid the braiding to check the wire and it was completely fine. Some pros would be that it does supress sound from the outside and does most of what it says. Not only that, but it is simpler in design unlike most other headphones of the same price making it more appealing to those that don't want those flashy and rough headphones. A few cons would be that if you have a bio-jack, as I like to call them, which is a headphone jack that can do both mic and sound for headsets, you'll need to get a reverse splitter. The other con would be, from my experience, one side of the headset going out before a month has passed.

Perfect for VOIP
I bought these to replace a set of headphones that the audio cable had become reliable. I use them for VOIP calls through my laptop. For this purpose these headphones are perfect. For music the the headphones are adequate but not something a audiophile would write home about. But, simply that's not the purpose of these things. One small word of caution, if you are small in stature they may be a bit too big for you. I use these with them pushed all the way in there smallest setting and they fit just perfectly. I have roughly a medium sized head. My wife, who is smaller, tried them and they do not fit her very well. The phones did not line up with her ears very well. So in summary my 5 star is for my purposes they are perfect, especially for the price. I find the price/value ratio makes these headphone definitely worth it.
