Nice produtcs. But should pack properly.

Beautiful fragrance, great taste, nice nutty flavour but not overpowering, so blends with all food and can be eaten just by itself. Delicious with a pat of butter. Definitely will buy more. Bought this pkg as a trial. Am not a fan of brown rice as it overpowers the accompanying food but the Joha rice is delicious with all kinds of recipes. Try it. Highly recommend.

I am thrilled to have found this rice! I am from abroad and have been eating organic whole grain brown, red and black rice for about 40 years for its health value: high fiber, vitamin, mineral and even protein content. I have been living in India for 3 years and this is the first whole grain rice that I have found here that is close to the brown rice I get abroad. The black rice is a sumptuous treat! I soak these rices overnight and then cook 2 parts water to 1 part rice. Because it is a minimally processed product, you will find some hulls; these float to the top when you wash. I highly recommend these rices to anyone who is serious about their health and willing to adventure into new textures and flavors.

Bought just to try a new thing. But I won't recommend it... it's bitter in taste. Coming back to normal rice.

Excellent products. More people should consume organic products so that it becomes a norm to grow and consume organic rather than an exception.

I apologize for the inconveniences caused on my remarks. Sorry for all above. The color from black rice is not any toxic material or artificial color pigment. Rather it is due to a type of antioxidant called anthocyanin. The rice releases color or anthocyanin when it comes in contact with water. Anthocyanin is one of the reasons why consumers choose to prefer black rice in their diet over other rice. For more about anthocyanin and its healthier benefits, you could kindly visit so many website or read any literature available in internet or see you tube what I have studied and did alread. Also it is recommended to soak rice in water for 5-6 hours before cooking due to a strong shell present outside the rice grain as it is unpolished.
